This description of item conditions is according to ebay guidelines:

Factory Sealed - The box is still sealed. The cards have not been touched.

Mint - This card shows almost no wear, and has not been played.

Near Mint - The wear, while not noticeable, is present when one looks for it. The card tends to have more than a few slight dings on the back of the card, but those that are there barely detract from the card.

Used - This card, or set of cards, has obviously been played.
