     Payment Policy

    - Domestic payment (within Australia):

    • Direct bank deposit is our PREFERRED payment method into our Australian bank account as displayed above.
      Please proceed to checkout by (covering Internet Banking or payment over bank counter) and ONLY use your eBay User-ID or eBay sales order number ##### that will be emailed to you upon purchase. Use last few digits of eBay Item Number if you are unable to use alphabet. This is to avoid payee misidentification for multiple buyers paying for the same eBay item number with multiple items.
    • Money order is also our PREFERRED payment method.
    • Bank cheque and Personal cheque are also accepted. However fund must clear into our bank account before product can be shipped. For bank or personal cheque, it may take up to 5 business days before the fund will clear. Please check with your bank for more detail.
    • PayPal is accepted but is NOT our preferred payment method.

    - International payment (All worldwide destinations):

    • PayPal is accepted and is our PREFERRED for overseas buyers. However in general we do not accept payment from Unverified or Unregistered PayPal Account, and we may hold on to your item until your PayPal account is fully verified before we can ship.
      ** NOTE: Due to increasing PayPal account theft, we are following PayPal's 48 to 72 work hours payment security clearance before your parcel is being shipped. This is to avoid stolen PayPal accounts being used for payment not belonging to the original account owner and ship to alternate address. We hope all our customers can appreciate and understand this.
    • Direct bank wire transfer is accepted into our bank account as displayed above (Note the extra SWIFT Code). We are not responsible for bank transaction fees that banks on either side may charge you to use the electronic service on top of the total checkout amount. In general a AU$10 charge will incur to cover for our local bank fees. This will insure we will receive exactly the total checkout amount.
    • Cash on Delivery (COD) is NOT available for international shipment.

  •  Shipping Policy

    Shipping cost varies based on overall weight and dimension of parcel, whichever is higher. The stated flat rate eBay Shipping and Handling fee in general consists of the postage cost, packaging material cost, transaction handling fee and last but not least the labor cost to arrange all these together for you in one transaction.

    We require at least 1 day minimum processing time to process all orders so we do not ship the same day. Our visits to Australia Post Office are around 1:00pm to 2:00pm everyday. If you have an URGENT requirement, please call us by PHONE to see if your item can be shipped out the same day outside these period, additional charge may apply. For multiple items purchase, discount for eBay Postage and Handling fee is already specified and provided for each additional items to be combined into one shipment. Please check the "Postage and payments" tab next to the "Description" tab.

    - Request for address change:

    • Address change request is NOT possible and is NOT permitted after the parcel has been scheduled for shipping. When possible, $5 fee will apply for each address change request to cover our administrative cost.

    - Tax invoice:

    • Soft copy in Acrobat .pdf file format will be issued upon request via email only.
    • We do not include nor provide hard copy with the shipment.

    - Self-pickup or Self-collect service:

    • We currently DO NOT offer self-pickup or self-collect service for transactions completed on eBay.

    - Domestic shipping (within Australia):

    • Standard Postage - Australia Regular Post: Tracking not available. Signature not required. Insurance cover not available. Customer is required to contact us to pay $3 per each $100 insurance cover should they wish to cover for item delivery against lost or damage in transit.
    • Standard Postage - Australia Registered Post: Tracked delivery service. Signature is required. Insurance cover is extra, please contact us for detail.
    • Express Postage - Australia Express Post: Next day delivery service to all major cities. Signature not required. Insurance cover is extra, please contact us for detail.
    • Express Postage - Courier Delivery: For expensive or heavy articles we are offering courier delivery service to all areas, direct ship by Fastway Couriers or StarTrack Express.
    • Cash On Delivery - Australia Post COD: This service is no longer being offered.

    We may choose to upgrade your delivery using courier services or via internal staff delivery service for speed and at no extra charge to you for express and secure delivery. This is especially necessary during peak mailing season to avoid parcel delay, parcel lost or delivery to wrong address by Australia Post which does not provide insurance cover. We do need your physical address and contact phone number as courier service could not deliver to PO BOX Address. They will call you to arrange a delivery time either during business hours (9am to 5pm) for business address or after hours (6pm to 9pm) for residential address.

    - International shipping (All worldwide destinations, excluding countries where insurance cover is not available):

    • Australia Post - Airmail Parcel Post (Insured Only):
      - 3 to 40 business day delivery depending on final destination with default AU$100 insurance cover included in the fee. Extra insurance cover can be purchased.
      - NOTE: This service is NOT available to Bolivia, Botswana, Seychelles as insurance cover is not available hence no tracking number can be provided for PayPal transaction, so please select ECI/EMS service below.
    • Australia Post - Registered Post International (Insured Only):
      - 3 to 10 business day delivery depending on final destination with default AU$100 insurance cover included in the fee.
    • Australia Post - Express Courier International (also known as ECI/EMS):
      - 3 to 7 business day delivery with web online tracking. The secure and safest way to send parcels internationally with default AU$100 insurance cover in the fee! Extra insurance cover can be purchased.
      - NOTE: ECI is the only postal service we can ship to countries where insured Airmail Parcel Post service is not available!
    • DHL Express Courier International:
      - 1 to 5 business day delivery with web online tracking. One of the fastest, most secure and safest way to send parcels internationally with default AU$100 insurance cover in the fee! Extra insurance cover can be purchased.
    • FedEx International Priority:
      - 1 to 5 business day delivery with web online tracking. One of the fastest, most secure and safest way to send parcels internationally with default AU$100 insurance cover in the fee! Extra insurance cover can be purchased.

     Parcel Tracking Policy

     Warranty and Returns (RMA) Policy
    • If the item hasn't shipped and you have genuinely purchased item in error and wish to rescind, please contact us and a standard AU$5 cancellation fee will be charged to cover our administrative cost, PayPal fees, to restock/relist the item and to cancel the transaction.
    • All new products (excluding software) carry a standard 1 year warranty (or explicitly reduced period as indicated) concurrently running with manufacturer's warranty from your transaction date. Any remaining warranty will need to be claimed directly with each respective brand manufacturers. Some manufacturers (eg. AVM, Belkin, BlueAnt, Gigaset, LaCie, Plantronics, SanDisk, Strike, swissvoice, TomTom, Wacom ...) provide warranty directly to end users so please contact each respective manufacturers for support and warranty cover.
    • Due to sensitive nature of the software serial key, software products return are NOT ACCEPTED for vendors such as Adobe, Corel, Microsoft, VMWare....
    • 1800Memory offers a product return/exchange (excluding software) within 7 days of receipt for product that is unopened, unused and must be in the original condition as it was shipped to you. Once the product seal is broken and your finger print is on the product, return/exchange is NO LONGER possible and standard product warranty will apply.
    • Remember 1800Memory does not manufacture the products sold, rather manufacturers do. 1800Memory cannot be held liable for damages or lost to personal property due to misuse or improper installation, or improper care and maintenance of products. 1800Memory warranty does not, under any circumstance, cover the replacement or cost of any electronic device or personal property inside or outside of the product.
    • Under any circumstances, postage and handling fee, customs import tax/duty fee are Non-Refundable. This includes brand new item sealed item arriving DOA to customer. Only the original item amount is refundable excluding shipping fee paid from customer.
    • A valid RMA number must be obtained before you send the product back to us under warranty. If you return the product without a valid RMA number, your parcel will be rejected and be shipped back to you at your own cost.
    • After the return item condition was assessed and was proven being faulty within the warranty period, seller (or product distributor or product manufacturer) will cover for domestic only outbound shipping and buyers cover for return shipping. A replacement (or equivalent) product will be issued if still available and not discontinued, otherwise a partial refund at at lower market distribution price will be provided. For discontinued product customer is required to contact vendor directly for warranty cover.
    • A restocking fee of 20% will apply covering all refund and exchange situations such as change of mind, buyer's remorse, purchased incompatible product, product exchange including upgrade/downgrade, "not I thought I was getting", etc, etc.
    • Refund is only available after returning goods has been received within 7 days of purchase. If you have had the product for over 7 days, refund will no longer be available and standard warranty applies.
    • For product with Free Shipping option is only valid while the transaction is being fully paid. If return authorization is required, the Free Shipping option is void and original shipping cost will be deducted from the amount to be refunded less the restocking fee. Please allow up to 7 days for processing your RA upon receive as we normally process them during every weekends.
    • If there is NO FAULT found with your return product, a $30 service fee will be charged, plus any shipping fee required to return the product back to you.
    • Customer is required to pay for shipping fee again to resend if the item has been returned to us due to invalid address, insufficient address, no longer at the address or unclaimed reasons.
    • Product warranty is VOID if the product has been opened internally, taken apart or disassembled by customers.
     eBay Feedback Policy
    • Firstly and foremost, it is a condition that if you purchase a product from 1800Memory that you must allow us the opportunity to rectify an issue before you base any neutral or negative feedback as a result of a faulty product, lost product, damaged product or any other mishap that is out of our control. Please DO NOT BUY FROM US if you are going to score us neutral or negative based on an issue you're having with a product that is out of our control. We are always here to rectify problems that you may face and would appreciate the opportunity to fix your concerns. If you do leave neutral or negative feedback as a result of an issue with the item with no attempt to contact us, this will be a violation of our terms and conditions to trade with our company. If we fail to remedy any issue or concern that you are facing with your product, then your neutral or negative feedback would be understandable.
      • Customer service is all we pride our business upon, delivering customer service excellence is the key ingredient to our business philosophy.
      • Keep in mind when leaving feedback that you should be very fair in your opinions. We will do all that we can to resolve your issues and concerns.
      • Upon knowing the transaction has been completed successfully, please inform us by email or simply proceed to leave positive feedback for us as our systems are set to leave you automatic positive feedback once your positive feedback is left for us.
    • It is our desire to provide strong customer satisfaction and a very positive experience for our customers, so we do our best to present accurate and detailed information about every product that we sell. It is the responsibility of the bidder to carefully review all item description, compatibility and ask appropriate questions prior to placing your bid. Any typo or error in the item description is unintentional and please do inform us if you come across any.
    • Please commit only if you have the intention to pay for your purchase, within 4 days as per eBay rule. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE with any of our store policies as stated on this page, please DO NOT COMMIT to purchase.
    • We always try to be as patient as we can with your payment timing, and the product will be reserved for you for 4 days. After 4 days if we still do not receive your payment, we no longer under the obligation to hold the product for you and the product will be relisted.
    • If no communication from you and if too much advantage is being taken on our patient and policy, eBay Final Value Fee dispute will be lodged after 4 days, and in due course you will receive an Unpaid Item Strike, follows by permanent eBay Account Suspension in support of the eBay Buying Process Policy.
     Critical Summary
    • Note for customers: Some of my items that are listed may not be in stock whilst live on eBay. As we wish to deliver items at very low prices to you, some of our items are drop shipped directly by our Australian distributors to you. The quantities of availability from our distributors are updated to us weekly. If you wish to check on live stock levels prior to purchase please do so. Alternatively I will notify you within 1 to 5 days of your purchase if the item is not in stock or no longer available. We will also refund you appropriately.
    • For item listings with This product is temporarily Out of Stock! status in the item description and/or with Pre-Sale clause, the ETA (Estimate Time of Arrival) is provided by the vendor and is subject to change by the vendor. If you choose to wait, sometimes the product may be discontinued and be made EOL (End of Life) by the manufacturer and have therefore stopped production, we will provide a full refund to you when we have been notified by the distributor as such.
    • Attention: Please note, some cradles, charging cradles, car docks, handsfree car kits may require you to fit the charger cords in correctly or else the charging cable may push out the holder and may not charge correctly due to insufficient contact.
