One of the most difficult things about collecting and investing in coins/currency is to determine if the collectable is an original, natural, “untampered with” coin vs. a coin that has been whizzed, cleaned, tooled, straightened, artificially toned and/or polished. REMEMBER, anything done to alter a coin is done on purpose, and that purpose is to hide an already existing problem with a coin or falsely inflate the value. All of these things are bad!!! These take away from the value of a coin, sometimes up to 80% while the buyer thinks he is getting a deal close or even a little under bid.

| | | | Buy quality untampered with coins and your chances of making a decent return on your hobby/investment will be much greater than the price shopper. If you want a true index of what "rare" coins sell for, check out auction realized prices from major auctions houses and you will see the difference. Ex. Two coins graded MS65, both by the same grading service. One may sell for $1200 while the other sells for $2500. Why, because of the look and quality of the coin. Peridicals may be a great index to the market value's, but this is only the 1st step in pricing a coin. You must look at the coin and see what its attributes are before you can put a price on it above or below "Grey Sheet Levels".
Kaminski Coin Company offers you opportunity and value for the coins and currency you buy. We want to buy our coins back when you are ready to sell. There are not enough quality coins left in the market place and they are becoming harder and harder to acquire. Thus, the adage of supply and demand comes into play. The smaller the supply, the greater the demand, the higher the price. We pay real money for our coins and we sell them at realistic prices. Give us a call so we can put the right coin with you.
