Shipping FAQS & Information
5stardeal uses a variety of methods to ship your purchase! We typically analyze your order as a whole and determine which method will enable you to receive your package in the most efficient maner! We use the United States Post Office on most of our small orders. We typically use a First Class Service on small and light items. We use US Postal Priority Service on medium sized orders. When your order is Bulky or Heavy we will often send your package by UPS. The ultimate decision to decide whether to send an item via UPS or US Postal Service will also depend on your location within the US. The shipping method is at the full discretion of 5stardeal unless an upgraded service was purchased by you.
Shipping Time
Our warehouse is centrally located in Cleveland, Ohio. Many of our shipments to the West Coast will be shipped in Priority envelopes to speed up your delivery. Priority is a stated shipping time of 2-3 days but is not guaranteed. The other services all vary depending on location. Often delays in shipping can occur for reasons outside of our control. It is a rare circumstance, but sometimes an items could take up to two weeks for ultimate delivery. If you have any concerns about the shipping method we will use feel free to call us at 1-800-559-7559. Overnight and second day air service is available. If the service and pricing is not offered in your auction listing of interest, please call us at 1-800-559-7559 to arrange for this expedited service and also to receive a price quotation.
Email Notification
We ship packages from our warehouse every day. We utilize the most reliable fulfillment software on the market. Your orders are electronically transmitted to our warehouse floor within minutes of receiving your confirmed payment. You will receive an email from us notifying you of the payment reciept. Upon shipment, you will receive an automated email from us notifying you that your package has shipped. Processing time to pick from the shelves, package your product and ship it, will always be less than 2 business days; In most cases 1 business day.
Handling Time
Our warehouse maintains inventory for many different industries, but we typically can ship most orders within 1 business day after receiving payment. Handling time often depends on the time of day your payment is received. Many items will recieve same day shipping and rarely will items ever ship later than 2 business days after payment is received. You will receive an email letting you know when your item has been shipped. You should expect a 2 day handling time for your package to be shipped, but that is typically the worst case scenario. As mentioned above, many items have a same day or one day handling time.
Expedited Handling
If an auction offers expedited shipping rates for 2nd day air or next day air, your order will leave the same day if confirmed payment has been received by 2 p.m. eastern standard time. Remember, our orders are transmitted directly to our warehouse floor for the quickest turnaround.
Shipping Cost
Sometimes the actual shipping that you pay will be more than the shipping cost for us. (sometimes it is less) Before you begin to question why we would charge so much in the way of shipping, please remember that our shipping charge includes many different costs to our company. Employee expense related to pulling, preparing and delivering your package. There are packaging material costs. Risks associated with shipping, such as loss and damage. There are procurement and warehousing cost. Often these costs will be wrapped into the shipping charge. We do not hide the shipping cost in an attempt to mislead you. All shipping costs are stated in the auction. Combined shipping discounts
Combined Shipping Discounts
On multiple item purchases, this is our policy. These discounts are automatically calculated upon checkout. Use the automated checkout on the ebay auction page "PAY NOW" after you have purchased the last item you wish to purchase from 5stardeal, and your shipping will automatically be discounted upon Checkout. We discount every shipping rate when you purchase multiple items. Just add all your shipping costs associated with every auction you won, and take a FULL 30% off each rate.
For example: You purchase 3 items. The stated shipping amounts for your three items are: 10.99, 12.99, 6.99. You would add all shipping rates together and multiply by 70% (.70). Therefore, shipping in this example will be (10.99 +12.99 + 6.99)*(.70) = $21.68. The savings for you on this fictitious order would be $9.29. When you buy multiple items from us, feel free to use this formula when calculating your total costs. Our automated checkout will calculate automatically during your payment process. Feel free to wait up to one week to make all combined purchases to take advantage of this combined shipping savings. If you would like more time to make purchases, please email so we may set your account for more time. If separate payments are made during separate checkouts, no combined shipping discounts can be applied. Sorry.
Tracking
We use a delivery confirmation service through the US Post Office. The Post Office does not offer a true tracking service except on their express delivery packages! The only service that is offered from the Post Office on first class and priority packages is delivery confirmation. This is a service that is different than tracking. Delivery confirmation only notifies the sender and receiver when the package is delivered. We offer this service to you FREE of charge. For all orders, tracking information will be emailed to you at the time of shipment. |
