8th Street Music Center was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1940. Originally the store was located at 8th and Market Streets (hence our name) until we moved to our previous location at 1023 Arch Street in the mid 1970's. We've since expanded and our store is now connected to our warehouse. Today all of our inventory is in one convenient location. You can find us just over the bridge in Pennsauken, New Jersey.We pride ourselves in being a family run business of four generations. You can expect the service and know-how of a large company but with the personalized, quality attendance of an old family friend.8thstreet.com was established in 1996.
