Warranty Claim Procedures and Requirements
A.S.I. A.T.E. warrants to the original Invoiced customer that its rebuilt products are free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, A.S.I A.T.E. will, at its option, either repair or replace the controller In question that proves to be defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. If A.S.I. A.T.E. is unable to repair or replace the product (or If part is not rebuildable a core fee will be applied), a prorated refund will be Issued based upon length of time in service from the initial invoice date of the Controller.
Our limited warranties do not cover any damage to the Controller that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized dis assembly, repair, or modification. This limited warranty also does not apply to any Controller on which the original identification information has been altered, obliterated or removed, has not been handled or packaged correctly, has been sold as second-hand or has been resold.
Our limited warranty covers repair or replacement only (core fee applies if not rebuildable) for a defective A.T.E. product, as provided above.A.S.I. A.T.E. is not liable for, and does not cover under warranty any loss of use, labor charges, rental car fees or any costs other than the cost for A.T.E. to repair the unit.
Duration of Warranty Designated Warranty is Stated in the Listing description If no Warranty is stated then the Warranty duration is 1 Year :
This limited warranty is non-transferable.

If you experience difficulty during the installation or subsequent use of an A.S.I. A.T.E.product, you may contact A.S.I. A.T.E. Technical Support department prior or during Installation. Our Technical support team is available Monday thru Friday 9am to 5:30pm Eastern Time 1-866-983-6688.

If you have a warranty Issue email firstname.lastname@example.org with the symptoms ocurring ,The warranty return form can be downloaded directly from our website.Please Include this form with controller and a copy of your Invoice, warranty will only be honored if you are the original purchaser. Please include in detail the extent of your failures or problems you are experiencing.
Once you have Down Loaded and printed the warranty form send the Controller freight-prepaid and insured to Auto & Truck Electronics /Warranty Dept.mailed to the address at the bottom of warranty form. Controllers shipped must be properly packaged to prevent damage in transit. You must include the A.T.E.Warranty return form in package to have your Controller expedited, without the warranty form Included in package will hold up the process.
Controllers not claimed or paid for prior to 30 days from arriving at A.S.I. A.T.E. then becomes the property of Auto & Truck Electronics to dispose of as we see fit.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.
All Warranty and or Defect returns will be shipped back postage due. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.No refunds will be Issued unless we have attempted to repair or replace the controller first. When a refund is approved, allow 10 business days for processing, controller must first be returned to our facility for testing and failure determination. We reserve the right to either repair or replace. If replacement is determined a market price core fee will be due since the controller is then deemed not rebuildable. If refund is issued controller becomes the property of Auto & Truck Electronics and a 20% restocking fee will apply.
The section below is only applicable to you If you purchased a part from our inventory and did not send in your original controller for our rebuild services.
CORE RETURNS; ALL Cores MUST be returned within 15 DAYS of Invoice Date to receive proper Credit, Cores returned after 15 days will then receive no credit.
CORES Cracked, Burned or broken- NO CREDIT VALUE
CORES that have contamination liquid or chemical -NO CREDIT VALUE
CORES with incorrect module boards or prior work conducted NO CREDIT VALUE
Cores with Damaged Plugs or Cases ---NO CREDIT VALUE
CORES THAT HAVE NO CREDIT VALUE BECOME THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO RETRIEVE THEIR UNIT.IF CUSTOMERS WANTS CONTROLLER RETURNED ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH CONTROLLER MUST BE PAID FOR PRIOR TO LEAVING OUR FACILITY.
ALL NON REBUILDABLE CORES LEFT HERE FOR MORE THAN 15 DAYS FROM THE LOGGED ARRIVAL DATE WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF A.T.E.
Once cores are inspected and are processed core refunds will be applied within 15 business days. If you did not receive a refund within that time than your core was not rebuildable and no refund was issued. for more information on your core refund,

All Controller sent in for testing or repair must have all attached brackets removed before sending in for our rebuild services, these brackets may get lost or misplaced, Auto & Truck Electronics will not be held responsible.
ANY PRODUCT SHIPPED TO A.S.I. A.T.E.FOR TESTING OR REPAIR AND IS NOT PAID FOR WITHIN 15 DAYS OF ITS COMPLETION BECOMES THE PROPERTY OF A.S.I. A.T.E. to recoup all fees incurred . Notification of completion will be by ONE the following, Telephone or Email , or by Letter,
Core charges will apply if a unit for warranty or repair is returned in Non-Rebuildable Condition under Warranty.
