- Never leave an electric heater

bedding, curtains, or furniture at least three feet from the front of
your heater and allow a sufficient amount of space around the unit's
sides and rear.
- Unless the heater is specifically
designed for outdoor use, never use a heater in a damp or wet area.
- To prevent trips and falls, always run
the heater's electrical cord on top of carpet and area rugs.
