Our Return Policy
- For the first 30 days of your purchase you may return the merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges
- No RMA number is required to return an item, simply download and fill out the Return Merchandise form
- All returns must meet our guidelines
- Returned or exchanged products must be in prestine resellable condition, and have all original manufacturers packaging, materials and accessories, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and blank warranty cards.
- Merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned
- The original manufacturer's labeled packaging should be enclosed within an outer shipping box. Please do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer's packaging
- Securely package the product and include the filled out Return Merchandise Form and a copy of the original invoice.
- Ship the parcel back to us freight prepaid. We do not accept COD or freight collect shipments. We recommend a shipping method that provides tracking and insurance.

Items that qualified for free shipping that are being returned will have our standard shipping charges deducted from refund or credit. The return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to us) is not refundable.
Please allow up to 8 business days after we receive the package for your return/exchange/refund to be processed. An email confirmation will be sent to you once the return is processed.
Important Note for international customers: Please mark the item as "VENDOR RETURN" to avoid duties and customs.
Items from the following categories may not be returned once opened:
Software, Film, Paper, DVDs and video tapes, Bulbs and flash tubes, Batteries, Ink cartridges, Memory cards, Any item which has been removed from its "blister-pack".
Items from the following categories may not be returned:
- Printers cannot be returned once toner, ink or ribbon cartridges have been installed.
- TVs and monitors 20" and higher (Any warranty claim must be taken up with the manufacturer directly)
- Note: Upon delivery, please inspect the TV and insure that it is not physically damaged and in operable condition. DO NOT SIGN the delivery manifest until you have inspected the TV. Once you sign for the item, you are signing acceptance of the product as is. If the merchandise is damaged, please make the notation on the delivery manifest, and have the person delivering the merchandise sign as a witness to the damages and contact us immediatly to report the damage.
- Underwater photography equipment cannot be returned once they have been used in water
- Cell phones and smart phones - phones will only be accepted for credit or exchange if they register less than 10 minutes cumulative talk time and show no sign of use, defective phones will be exchanged for the same model only.
- Notebooks and computers cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or unwrapped.
If the above conditions are not met, Adorama has the right to refuse the return or charge a restocking fee.
How to return an item?
At Adorama, we strive to make our customers' return process hassle free. As all returns must meet our guidelines, please review our full Return policy carefully.
No RMA number is needed to return an item. Please download and fill out the return Merchandise Form and include it in the return along with a copy of the original invoice.
- Returns must be made within the time limit specified in our Return policy.
- Returned products must be in brand new condition and have all original manufacturers packaging, materials and accessories.
- Securely package the product you wish to return within an outer box, do not write or place shipping labels or stickers on the manufacturer's packaging.

Cancellations
You can cancel your order provided it hasn't yet entered the shipping process. If the item has entered the shipping process, it cannot be canceled. However, you can return the item for a refund. See Return policy.
Note: TV's or any other item shipped by truck can only be canceled prior to shipment. Once shipped and in route, the order cannot be canceled. If the delivery is refused, the shipping and handling charges for both ways will be deducted from the credit, and at our discretion a restocking fee might also be deducted.
Damaged / Missing Items upon delivery:
Damaged in delivery: If you've found damage to the package or if merchandise is missing, please keep the original shipping carton and contact us immediately so we can issue a damage claim with carrier. Please don't return the merchandise without going through these steps, as it delays the replacement of the order or the issuance of a credit.
Missing items:
All missing items claim must be reported within 5 business days of delivery, contact us to report a missing item from your shipment.
At time of arrival:
If your TV arrives by UPS/Fedex/USPS: You will need to inspect the box from the outside for visible damage. If the box is not in perfect condition you should refuse it. Once you sign for it or open the box, you can not claim in-transit damage. If the box looks fine, you can then sign for it & open the box for further inspection after the carrier/driver leaves. You should check your TV ASAP to make sure that it works fine. If there's any problem, please let us know.
If your TV arrives by special truck delivery: You will need to inspect the TV for both, external damage, AND make sure that it powers up before you sign for it. If there's any external damage to the box, or it dosn't power on, don't accept it. (according to the trucking company rules, you need to test the TV at the closest power outlet to the door. They are not required to wait till you put the TV in its intended place or till you test the cable connections) After the truck leaves, you should further test the TV to make sure everything works perfect. If there's any problem, please let us know.
Product Warranties
All new merchandise bought from Adorama are genuine, authentic and of consistent high quality and value. All items are warranted by either the manufacturer's warranty or if it is Grey market equipment it will be covered by Adorama for one year from date of shipment
Products requiring repair (other than Grey Market products) should be sent directly to the manufacturer/distributor for service. Adorama is not liable if the manufacturer/distributor fails to perform warranty service
Used Equipment carries a 90 day Warranty
Pal Video Equipment carries a 90 day Warranty
Our warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. Our warranty is valid only at Adorama Camera. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than Adorama Camera will void this warranty. Adorama Camera DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF THIS ITEM, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Our warranty is valid only in the U.S.A. Grey Market Information
What does "Grey Market" mean?
"Grey market", also known as "direct import", are products imported directly into the U.S., and not through the manufacturer's authorized agent / distributor.
Are "Grey Market" products legally imported?
Yes, it is perfectly legal to Directly Import these products and sell it in the USA. The term "Grey Market" was coined by manufacturer's authorized distributors who wanted to discourage consumers from buying these goods. Its proper name is "direct import",
What are the advantages "Grey Market" Goods ?
Since there is no factory authorized middle man involved in the import of these products the costs are lower, and so the price of the item is lower to you, the consumer.
In addition many items which are in short supply or are not imported at all by the manufacturer's authorized distributors are available in "Grey Market"
What are the disadvantages of "Grey Market" goods?
Again since there is no factory authorized middle man involved in the import of these products, there is no manufacturer's warranty
"Grey Market" Products purchased from Adorama are warrantied by Adorama Camera and have to be returned to Adorama Camera for any in warranty repair.
Are there any additional differences?
There is no difference in the actual products. In most cases they are manufactured in the same place by the same people and with the same materials. Occasionally manufacturers will name them differently for example the Olympus USA Digital Stylus Cameras are called Olympus MJU Cameras in Europe
What Kind of warranty do we offer on "Grey Market" goods?
On "Grey Market products purchased from Adorama, we offer the same warranty as the USA warrantied products carry for a period of one year.
The only difference is that you would need to ship it to Adorama for warranty service
NOTE. You do not need a separate Adorama warranty certificate, your Adorama invoice is all you need to get warranty service on "Grey Market" products
What happens after the warranty expires?
Just like products with an expired Manufacturers' warranty you would take the product to any convenient repair shop and pay for the repair
What is "Refurbished"?
Manufacturer "Refurbished" items are items that were returned to the manufacturer and brought back to factory specification. Since we buy them in bulk, we are unaware of the particulars on any individual item history. They come in manufacturer packaging and have a 90 day Manufacturers warranty. (Except Canon which has a one year return to Adorama warranty - your receipt is all you need) Couple that with Adoramas 30 day return policy you can feel confident in your purchase.
