International Shipping Policy & Fees

estimating international shipping and handling fees

Shipping and handling fees are not just postage cost. Our international shipping fees are easily calculated.
We ship via the US Postal Service. Their postage rates are obtainable via the US Postal Service postage calculator. When calculating postage:

use a weight of 1 pound 12 ounces. Note: this is the average weight of our "packaged"
handbags (single items). Multiple item packages
must be quoted by our staff. S&H
for heavier items will be adjusted on your
invoice. |

review the fee for: "Airmail Parcel Post" (see notes below). NOTE: Packages valued at more than $59 must be shipped via Global Express Mail
service. |

3. |
add insurance coverage (required for international deliveries) |

If you require a tracking number, your package must be shipped via US Global
Express Mail (average $12 extra in postage). Insurance requirements are stated on our auctions. However, we require
insurance on international deliveries. If your package does not arrive
in the time expected, no investigation can begin for 31 days. We will not reimburse any payment for uninsured packages. |

It is not possible nor legal for us to pay the import fees for your country. If
your country's customs department taxes the package, you are responsible for those taxes. Please do not ask us to improperly label your package in an effort to avoid local tariffs.
To determine the total international shipping fee for your item, add $1.95
USD to the amount quoted by the US Postal Service postage calculator. This
$1.95 is added to cover:

* Customers in the United Kingdom must be aware that your local "Parcel Force" will return your package to us if you do not pay assessed VAT taxes and processing fees within 15 days. We can not pay these for you and these fees are not included in the shipping fees you pay to us. If your package is returned to us, we will attempt redelivery only upon payment for reshipping. Shipping fees are not refundable.
