Q1: Do you combine shipping?
A: Absolutely! Each additional item costs an extra $2 only! (excludes purchases of more than 1 HEAVY item)
Eg. In purchasing 3 items; the FULL postage fee for the first initial item + $4 ($2 X 2 additional items)

PLEASE NOTE: Our Postage price includes time, transportation, packaging and postage costs we incur. Not just postage alone.


Q2: What is HEAVY item? Can I combine shipping of HEAVY items? Can I purchase HEAVY items as part of the 10% off promotion?
A. Unfortunately, some of the products we offer, due to their weight, cost quite a lot to ship and these items are noted as HEAVY.

You can still combine shipping of your purchases from us even if it includes HEAVY items. However, if the package contains more than one HEAVY item (2 or more), each additional HEAVY item is charged 50% of the stated postage for that item.

You can also purchase our HEAVY items as part of the 10% OFF promotion. However, each HEAVY item/s will incur 50% of the displayed postage charge for that item.

We endeavour to bring the best that Japan has to offer to our customers and friends. Even though some of the best weigh more than 1 kg, which costs us substantial amounts to ship, we still offer massively discounted shipping and free upgrading in certain cases only to make it more affordable and let you try the best.


Q3: How can I take advantage of '10% off on orders over $150' and is it valid across the whole world?
A. If the total of your items (excluding HEAVY items) alone exceeds more than $150, we will offer 10% discount on your order total(inc postage) regardless of where you are. You can pick any items from any category. Again, the only condition is the total sum excluding postage is over $150 and excludes HEAVY items! An invoice will be issued with 10% deduction from the total of your items and postage. (Any HEAVY items purchased will be charged 50% of the displayed postage charge)


Q4: Can you confirm the delivery date?
A. How long it will take for a package from here in Japan to arrive at your doorstep depends on many factors; customs, holidays, postal services in your home country etc.
We ship items to you on the same day or the next day after payment is cleared (except in some cases for traditional sweets or snacks which are freshly ordered for you). Therefore although we can't confirm the delivery date for you, you will be able to receive your package sooner if you check out sooner.

The duration of delivery mentioned in the postage page is based on information released by Japan Post and is merely an estimation. Do rest assured though that Japan Post is quite fast, efficient and responsible.


Q5: How come Traditional Japanese sweets (or snacks in some cases) may take longer to dispatch?
A: We emphasize freshness so that our customers only get the best.
Unlike other already packaged items, traditional Japanese sweets do not last long. Thus, we take a custom order approach on items in this category to maximize your chance of getting it fresh.

In combining other items with Traditional Japanese sweets, since all the items will be shipped together, the delivery may be slightly delayed until all the items are in place. Rest assured though the delays are generally minimal e.g. 2-3 days utmost.


Q6: What if my chocolate melts while it's on its way?
A: Products containing chocolate are kept in a cold storage room. However, it may melt during transit. In which case, customers should take that possibility into consideration before purchasing and if it happens, please simply refrigerate the items upon receiving them.


Q7: How do I choose my shipping option when I check out?
A: Customers can freely choose one of the three options we offer on our checkout page.
However, please remember if you request invoices from us, unless a certain option is specifically mentioned, you will be charged for the airmail fees.


Q8: Where do you ship to? Where do you NOT ship to?
A: Generally, we ship all over the world. However, we refuse extremely high fraud risk destinations(see sample list below--ebay's list is detailed) and in some cases ONLY offer EMS shipping eg Italy.


We will not ship to any of the following countries/states, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES:

Please do not bother and try to circumvent eBay's&Paypal's systems by having your account show up as registered in another country eg USA and ask us to ship to any of the above countries as we will not. We have experienced high fraud from those countries and will not, under any circumstances, ship to those countries/states.
