All customers wishing to have an item warranted must first obtain an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. Items received without an RMA number will be refused and shipped back at customer’s expense. NO EXCEPTIONS. See return procedure for how to obtain an RMA number.
As of October 1, 2015 our manufacturer warrants complete axles, halfshaft axles, and cv joints to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 365 days from the date of purchase. Rebuild kits and u joints are covered for 30 days from date of purchase. Boots are EXCLUDED from warranty. Warranty is valid ONCE for each eligible part purchased.
Warranty does not apply to conditions resulting from misuse, negligence, accident, improper installation or alteration. Customers failure to replace a torn, ripped or otherwise damaged boot is considered negligence and part will be rejected for warranty. Any questions should be addressed prior to purchase by calling 1-866-288-3003.
Warranty is VOID on any vehicle lifted in any way to include any tire, wheel or suspension components other than the original equipment design. Warranty is VOID on any vehicle that has been altered in any way to include performance enhancements to engine or drive train in any way other than the original equipment design. We reserve the right to make the determination if the part has been subject to abuse, improper installation or vehicle alteration. If warranty is rejected due to one or more of the reasons stated previously, customer must pay shipping to have part returned to them. Boots are EXCLUDED from warranty.
We reserve the right to repair/replace parts as we see fit. We do not cover return shipping costs. At no time will a refund be given on a warranty. If parts are not available, a replacement part will be given at the time one becomes available. All parts MUST be returned, including boots, before a warranty will be given. Only the original purchaser of the part is eligible for the warranty and customers must provide proof of purchase within 180 days for warranty to be honored. Our liability at no time shall exceed the amount of the original sale. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY.

All parts returned for a refund are subject to a 10% restock fee and must be returned in NEW condition. Parts must be returned in the original box and all items must be included in order for a refund to be considered. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If a return for refund should take place on a FREE SHIPPING item, the actual original shipping and handling costs will be deducted from the refund. Refunds are issued within 14 days once the part is received back in NEW condition. Refunds are issued in the same form the original payment was made unless payment was made over the phone, in this case refunds will be issued by check.
Parts must be returned in new condition. Parts must be returned in the original box and all items must be included. Original items must be received BEFORE new items will be shipped out regardless of whether the error was made by American CV or by the customer. New parts will be shipped out within 7 days of receiving original part back.* All shipping costs of non-defective parts are the customer’s responsibility. There are no exceptions to this policy.
*If part is not in stock, it will be shipped out as soon as it becomes available.
Returns for refund/exchange or warranty must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by calling us at 1-866-288-3003. The RMA will expire 14 days from the date it is issued. If the part is received after 14 days, the item will be refused and shipped back at customer’s expense and the return is no longer valid.
Once an RMA is obtained, pack the items in the original box along with proof of purchase. Be advised American CV, LLC is not responsible for any packages lost or damaged during return shipment. Lost or damaged items are not eligible for warranty or refund/exchange. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure items are not damaged during return shipment. Any missing items or damages not reported to us prior to return shipment will be the customer’s liability. It is wise to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment.
Once the item is packed, write your RMA # somewhere clearly visible on the outside of the box and send the package to:

We are not liable for customers trying to reach us before the 30 days who do not leave a detailed message. NO EXCEPTIONS.
