ROTARY INSTALLATION PICTORIAL

Installation: Please

Me page.
Remove conduit box cover to expose 9 leads with 1/4" ring lugs
attached. Bolt leads 4,5,6 together using a 1/4 inch bolt. Insulate bundle 4,5,6. Bolt leads 1&7 to T1, 2&8 to T2, and 3&9
to T3 using a 1/4" bolt. T1, T2 & T3 must be terminated with
a 1/4 ring lug. Insulate all connections. Secure ground lug to inside of conduit box using supplied
green screw.
Fit insulated wire connections into conduit box.
Attach conduit
box cover.
Remove the backplate and secure the enclosure to suitable structure
using 1/4 inch fasteners. Drill or punch the correct hole size for
the conduit fittings you will be using. 3 holes are usually
required: one for single phase service, one for running wire to the
generator, and one to feed the load. Pull the wires through the conduit and terminate with 1/4 ring
lugs. Use a ground wire for each circuit.
Insert backplate
into the enclosure and hang on studs protruding from the back of the
enclosure. Secure the backplate using the provided 1/4 - 28 lock nuts.
When the operation of the phase converter is verified, hook up the
wires that go to the load. Hang the cover from the bottom screws
(backside facing out). Align the red, yellow and green switch operators with the switch body on
the back of the cover plate with the red switch operator on the
left. Push them into the switch body until they snap into
place.
Place the cover onto the enclosure. Make sure the
switch cable is above the firewall. Secure the cover using the provided screws completing the
installation. Use isolation mounts (click
here to purchase) to ensure a quiet, long
lasting generator.
