CUSTOMS
Winners outside the US are responsible for all shipping and handling fees as well as any customs, value added taxes, duties, fees, tariffs, or other charges that may be due upon delivery of the item. Compassinfo Books can neither pre-determine nor accept responsibility for any of the above additional fees or costs. We will not mark shipments as gifts, and will put the actual purchase price on all customs documents.
CLASSES OF MAIL
First Class International shipping does not include tracking, but can be insured through our postage provider.
Priority International & Express Mail each include tracking & insurance up to $75 for Priority and $100 for Express. Additional insurance is available for both Priority & Express parcels.
SHIPPING TIME
The shipping times provided by ebay are an estimate only. Most packages are delivered within about 10 days to Canada, Western Europe, Australia and Japan. However, packages are often delayed in Customs or by the various postal services along their route. We have no control over this, and cannot tell you where your parcel is once it leaves our hands.
If your item has not arrived within 2 weeks, we recommend taking the Customs ID number, which you will receive from us via email, to your local post office and inquiring whether your item is there or has entered the country. Many post offices do not provide proper notice to recipients that their parcel has arrived. If you owe taxes or other fees, your item will not be delivered until these are paid to your post office.
INSURANCE CLAIMS
Please contact us as soon as possible regarding lost or damaged parcels. We will provide you with the form you will need to fill out, sign and return to us in order to submit your claim. For damaged items, we will also require photos to submit to the insurance company. Claims must be filed within 90 days of package shipment.
There is a
45 day waiting period before the you may file a notice of non-delivery and request reimbursement from the insurance company. For packages shipped to Italy, there is a 60 day waiting period. APO/FPO shipments require a 45 day waiting period before filing a notice of non-delivery.
EXCEPTIONS
Buyers from
Italy & Spain will be required to purchase insurance.

ONLY ship Priority International or Express Mail to buyers in the following countries:

Buyers from the above countries who pay for First Class International postage will have their payment refunded, and will need to pay for Priority or Express shipping.
