GENERAL QUESTIONS

Where Do You Get Your Choker Parts and Other Components?
Sorry, a good chef never reveals their secret ingredients!

Do You Have A Website Or Other Online Store?
Yes!  See our "ABOUT ME" page.

What Kind of Quality Can I Expect From Your Hand Crafted Items?
Better than you probably think. Our prices are rather low for artisan designer accessories, but this does not imply poor workmanship. We simply do not believe that designers should inflate their prices just to be pretentious. How do we keep prices low? Products are sold direct from our private studio, so there is no middleman, no storefront to maintain, and no expensive overhead costs. We do all our own web/graphic design, packaging, shipping and marketing. We buy components wholesale, so the savings are passed on to you. We are also extremely selective and check each piece carefully for flaws - we would not sell anything we would not be proud to wear ourselves!

What's the Difference Between "Silver" and "Antiqued Oxidized Silver"?
Differences between metal finishes and more information about our costume jewelry is given here.

Am I Going To Have An Allergic Reaction To Your Jewelry?
Nickel allergies are common, although many can wear it for a few hours without problems. Any items which contain nickel have been noted in the item description. More information about the metal components we use (as well as alternatives) is given here.

ORDERING/PAYMENT

Do You Have An (Item) Which Goes With This (Item)?
The quickest way to find out is to use the Colour Collections page and click a colour group. Otherwise please visit our "ABOUT ME" page, since we have far more items listed in our online store than here on Ebay.

Do You Have A Higher Quantity Available?
We might, or may be able to make more for you. Please ask!

Do You Sell Wholesale Or Offer Bulk Discounts?
We can only offer special discounts through the online store, not through the eBay store (see our "ABOUT ME" page for details).

Do You Take Requests/Custom Orders?
Sorry, not at this time. We can change minor details though (bead colour, size/length, etc.), please ask for a quote.

Do I Have To Register With PayPal In Order To Buy Your Items?
No. Our store is set up so that you can use a credit card or eCheck (bank transfer) via PayPal without having to register with them. PayPal simply acts as the checkout system. However we recommend that you consider registering with them at some point since PayPal offers excellent security encryption and buyer protection programs for purchases both on and off Ebay.

Can I Pay In Cash?
Sorry, pick-up orders must be paid in advance. See "Shipping/Pick-Up" below.

Why Do You Charge Sales Tax On Canadian Deliveries?
Because we are a legitimate registered Canadian business, and it is the law. The law states that anything sold within our province (BC) must be charged all applicable taxes; orders shipped to other Canadian provinces must be charged GST (or HST). Tax is charged on the item total and shipping cost combined, since it is based upon whatever costs it takes to get the purchase into the recipient's hands.

SHIPPING/PICK-UP

My Item Hasn't Arrived Yet. How Long Will It Take?
Allow at least 12 business days (business days) worldwide from date of cleared payment. If you haven't received your parcel yet, contact your post office - it may be waiting there for pick-up (this DOES happen!). We are located in Canada, and sometimes Customs will hold items for inspection which may delay shipment by several more days. Because of this, we should not assume shipments are "lost" until at least 30 days have passed. After 30-45 days (depends on what service was used) we can file a missing shipment claim with Canada Post to get your refund.

Will You Ship My Item As A Gift?
Yes - more about shipping to gift recipients and alternate addresses here.

My Item Got Damaged During Shipping. Help!
We can give you a refund or repair/replace it. More about refunds and returns here.

Can I Pick Up My Order?
If you live in the Vancouver BC area, yes, however we do not have a storefront. Our studio is not open to the public so we must meet elsewhere, such as a coffee shop in the Robson St. @ Burrard St. area (which is why we cannot accept cash: advance payment guarantees we won't be waiting for someone who never shows up, which happened a few too many times). We are located in Downtown Vancouver and will only arrange picks-ups to take place in the downtown core. SImply click "buy now" but do not pay for your item right away (yes, you can do that!). Let us know that you want to pick up, we will send you an invoice with the shipping cost removed, and you can then make your payment.

Why Is Shipping Within Canada So Expensive On Some Items?
Unfortunately, items thicker than 2cm cannot be shipped by cheap Lettermail so they must ship via parcel service which is much more expensive. For your peace of mind, ask us for the parcel dimensions and you can confirm our rates yourself.

REFUNDS/POLICY/FEEDBACK

My Item Got Damaged During Shipping. Help!
We can give you a refund or repair/replace it. More about refunds and returns here.

Why Do You Only Give Refunds Through PayPal?
Because all other payment methods charge fees on top of the actual amount for sending money, PayPal does not. We cannot issue more money than you originally paid us in order to give you a refund.

Feedback: Before You Leave Negative/Neutral Feedback, or a Positive "Complaint"...
If you are dissatisfied enough to consider leaving a less-than-happy remark, you should be dissatisfied enough to contact us for a resolution. We believe in top-notch customer service, are always polite and professional, and will do what we can to work with you to ensure your full satisfaction. However we cannot help you if you do not let us know!
