Payment MUST be received within 7 days of purchase/win date - No Exceptions!

We accept PAYPAL/CREDIT CARDS/eCHECKS from customers worldwide, as well as HyperWallet and Interac Bank-To-Bank Money Transfers from Canadian accounts (fees may apply - ask your bank first). You may use your credit card via the PayPal checkout system - we do not require you to register for a PayPal account in order to use this free service.

* No Cheques or Wire Transfers.
* Credit Cards only accepted online via the PayPal checkout system, not by telephone.
* Cash (exact change, Canadian funds) upon local Vancouver BC pick-up.
* eChecks via PayPal: we cannot ship your order until eCheck clears (approx. 3-8 days).

Note: If you use the "PAY ALL SELLERS AT ONCE" option with PayPal, double-check that a payment to 'artofadornment' is included on your transaction receipt - sometimes the "pay all" system doesn't work.

Non-Payment:
If payment is not received within 7 days, the item wil be re-listed and an unpaid item strike will be made against your account. WE DO NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS. Always double-check that your online payment has actually been processed!

Buying Multiple Items:
Multiple items won/purchased within 7 days and PAID IN ONE TRANSACTION (within 7 days of first item) can be shipped together at a lower cost than individually. If you want the discount DO NOT PAY FOR ITEMS ONE-AT-A-TIME!! Ask for a combined invoice so you can pay for everything in one fast, easy, consolidated payment.

Sales Tax:
Orders shipped to Canadian addresses will be charged 5% GST on final total. British Columbia orders will also be charged 7% PST on final total. If you live outside Canada and need your order shipped to a Canadian address, sales tax must be charged in accordance with Canadian tax laws.

* We ship worldwide. Items ship from Canada via Canada Post. We do not use FedEX, UPS, etc.
* We usually ship same-day, so to combine shipping multiple items MUST be paid in ONE TRANSACTION!
* We do not make a profit on shipping. Rates are provided live from Canada Post via the Ebay shipping calculator.
* If you need your order by a date less than 3 weeks away we urge you to use XpressPost shipping (scroll down).

Combined Shipping Rate For Additional Items:
Combined shipping saves money! Cost is determined by total parcel weight regardless of the number of items purchased from us within a 7 day period - the largest/heaviest item sets the cost (additional items will usually ship FREE). Items must be paid for in ONE consolidated transaction to be eligible. Ask us for a combined invoice BEFORE sending payment!

Delivery Time:
Due to seasonal Nov/Dec volume and resulting delays at Customs, all delivery times given in Holiday Shipping Guide below AND item listings are approximate. Note that "Custom" items, "Special Order" items and eCheck payments will take time to process and can also delay shipping by several days. If you have not received your parcel after 12 weekdays from shipment date (APO/FPO & PO Box after 20 weekdays), contact your post office before assuming it is "lost" - it may be waiting for pick-up. The post office may have been unable to notify you.

Local Pick-Up:
If you live in the Vancouver BC area you can pick up your order to save on shipping costs and/or pay cash in Canadian funds (exact change - we will give you a total in $CAD). If paying by PayPal/credit card, let us know you want to pick up BEFORE paying so we can remove the shipping charge from your invoice. Please note that we do not have a storefront - our studio is not open to the public so we must make arrangements to meet elsewhere (eg. coffee shop). We are located in Downtown Vancouver and will only arrange picks-ups to take place in the downtown core.

Express (XpressPost) Shipping - Conditions:
Service provided through Canada Post, includes insurance and tracking. Rates to Canada & USA available in item listings (International customers ask for quote). Providing us with a telephone number at the destination can help reduce delays.

Customs
We ship from Canada. Legally we cannot describe your international shipment as a "gift" on the Customs form unless we are shipping direct to a different person's address (someone who did not pay for the order and who does not live at the billing address).

We CANNOT declare the value of the parcel contents on the Customs form as less than the actual item value for two reasons:

1.) It is illegal. Mail fraud is a federal offence.
2.) The parcel is insured for the value declared. Thus if your $100 item got lost or damaged and we had declared it as worth $20, you could only get a $20 refund since that is the amount Canada Post would reimburse you.

The fact that other businesses may lie for you does not concern us (we will not "jump off a bridge" just because another store did). It is not a legal or ethical business practice.

Gift Recipient or Alternate (Non-Billing) Address:
We will ship to an address different from your usual billing address (you should first add the delivery address under "My Account > Addresses" in My Ebay). BUT... If paying by credit card (even via PayPal), for security against fraud and to avoid processing delays, contact the card issuer BEFORE paying (24-hour phone number on back of card) to authorize a new shipping address. If you already have a PayPal account, for a smoother check-out you should add the new address to your account BEFORE PAYING.

Gift Receipt*: You can write "gift from [your name]" as a note with your payment during check-out or message us immediately - we will include an unpriced gift receipt so they will know who the parcel is from. Also, tell the recipient to expect a parcel from Canada to make sure they will accept the shipment!!

*It is illegal for the shipper to lie about the contents of the package on the Customs declaration form - please don't ask.

Refunds given on returnable items if damaged/defective, significantly not as described, or otherwise unsatisfactory. Notify us within 30 days of purchase and return item in its unworn condition in original packaging, postmarked within 30 days of purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Final Sale: Fabric chokers, hats, wooden hair accessories, garters, lingerie, hosiery and gloves are "intimate apparel" and non-returnable under any circumstances due to federal health regulations. Porous items which come in very close contact with hair and skin can absorb bacteria, parasites and allergens which can harm others.

Refunds issued via PayPal ONLY (to the email address used during purchase) including credit card payments and all other payment methods, and may take up to 7 days to process. How refunds are credited is based on the funding source of the original payment:

* Credit card: funds will be credited to your card (may take up to 30 days to appear on statement)
* PayPal account balance: funds will be returned to your PayPal account balance
* Bank transfer/debit & eChecks: funds will be credited to your PayPal account balance (allow approx. 3-8 days for eCheck to clear before refund can begin processing)
* Other sources: (money orders, cash pick-up, HyperWallet, etc.) funds will be credited to your PayPal account balance

If you do not already have a PayPal account or did not pay by credit card: you must register at PayPal with the same email address you used to purchase the item to receive your refund (registration is free). You can then transfer the funds from PayPal to your bank account, or keep the balance at PayPal for future use.

Repairs, Alterations, and Wrong-Size Items
Repairs are done at no extra charge within 30 days of payment. After 30 days charges for parts/labour and return shipping will apply.

If you ordered an incorrect size (jewelry only) contact us within 30 days for alterations, shipped at your expense. Charges for adding extra components (beads, chain, etc.) may apply. Be aware that due to rare or discontinued components, some items may not be re-sizable.

Size Adjustment:
Choker can be re-sized (chain length added, or fabric shortened) by up to 3 inches (7.5cm) at no extra charge: give exact neck measurement as a "note" with payment. If you need more than 3 inches added or prefer longer fabric, ask for a quote BEFORE bidding/buying.

Sterling Silver Clasp Hardware Upgrade:
$8.69 USD per choker (specify BEFORE sending payment!).

Includes: 2 sterling-plated steel end crimps, 2 solid sterling silver split ring connectors, 1 solid sterling silver clasp, and 1 solid sterling silver 3 inch long chain (ask for a quote if you need longer chain).

Types of Clasps, Chains, and End Crimps Used On Chokers "Lobster claw" shaped spring type clasp is used on all chokers.
