Calculating Total

  • All charges are either specifically stated in each listing or it will tell you to contact seller for a quotation.  We do not charge hidden packaging and handling fees.  The only elements that may affect your total include the following:
  • SHIPPING: For shipping charges, please see specific listing for details.  The shipping options you may find in these listings are explained below.  If the listing tells you to contact seller for more information, please provide your zip code and quantity desired since calculations are based upon location and total shipping weight.  All shipping quotations refer to standard tailgate delivery.  If you would like to add lift-gate service onto your delivery, this is a $75 option that you may pay for.   For some questions, please see our FAQ page before contacting us.
    • Free Pick-up/Local Delivery:
      Customer Pickup:
      There are no charges for pick-up, however all customer pick-ups are subject to 8% Georgia Sales Tax.  Certain listings may not apply -- please check listing for pick-up availability. See customer pickup policy

      Local Delivery (Shipping within select cities in Georgia):
      Atlanta Fixture's fleet of delivery trucks provide free delivery with free liftgate service in the Metro Atlanta area, Athens, Columbus and more.  If you are located in Georgia and would like to know if your city qualifies you for free delivery (including free lift gate service), please call 1-800-282-1977.
    • Free Shipping / Delivery / Freight within the Continental USA:
      Atlanta Fixture is offering Free Freight on select item listings for tail gate delivery within the 48 contiguous states.  Each auction/listing will tell you whether Free Freight/Shipping is offered for that particular item or whether you need to contact us for a freight quote (see "Shipping Costs" below).  If you require lift gate service, there will be a service charge of $75.  Please specify this at checkout and include it in your payment. 
    • Shipping Costs:
      For shipping items that do not clearly state Free Freight to areas outside of our routed deliveries in Georgia and items that do not state a Flat Rate Shipping Charge, we can provide you with a quote for delivery from one of our select carriers.  We have specially arranged discounts with our carriers to provide you the lowest cost in shipping on the net.  For items that already have a flat rate shipping charge stated in the listing, these Flat Rate Shipping Charges apply to all orders placed within the continental US for tailgate delivery.  Lift-gate service may be added onto this flat rate for $75 more (sometimes shown as option 'Other' under shipping options).  For listings that require a quote, please contact us for your freight quote with item number, quantity, and zip code.  If you would rather proceed to buy it now and skip the quotation, the freight price will be calculated just the same and will be included in your invoice for payment.  Once you have placed your order, we will need your phone number to continue processing your order for shipment.
      • Please keep in mind that all deliveries are quoted as standard tail-gate delivery (outside the metro Atlanta area). 
        Tail-Gate Delivery
        Tail-Gate Delivery is delivery on a standard carrier truck with no lift-gate or lowering device. This type of delivery means the drivers will not be responsible for lowering any equipment on the truck to the ground.  They will deliver it to your loading dock or if you don't have one, then you must find a way to get the equipment down yourself.
      • If you do not have a loading dock, fork lift, or other capability for getting your merchandise off the truck, we suggest you request lift-gate service for a charge of $75.
        Lift-Gate Service
        The lift-gate is the mechanism on the end of the truck that allows the driver to lower heavy equipment to the ground.  This mechanism is not available on all carrier trucks so you must specify this with your payment at checkout before the merchandise is shipped.  Each listing containing heavy merchandise will provide this as an option under shipping choices.
    • Shipping Outside the 48 Contiguous United States of America:
      We are willing to ship certain items outside the 48 Contiguous States.  If the listing provides you a shipping calculator, keep in mind that the Shipping Cost calculated does NOT include any applicable Goods and Services Tax, Brokerage Fees, and/or Duties.  If there are no details concerning international sales, you may contact us for a quote.
      If you choose to self-broker this shipment or use your own broker, you must make ALL shipping arrangements and inform Atlanta Fixture of your actions.
  • TAXES: We are required by law to charge sales tax in the states of AL, DC, FL, GA, MO, NY, NC, SC, TN, TX, and WV because we are registered in these states.  If you would like us to ship to a zip code that falls outside of these states, we will not collect sales tax from you.  Our tax table shows the maximum tax rate that you may be charged in the state where you reside.  This does not necessarily mean you will be charged the rate shown...it just means you won't be charged more than the rate shown.  If your county falls under a lower rate within the state, we can adjust the rate at checkout or offer a refund after the sale.  Please contact seller with your street address, city, state, and zip code if you believe this applies to you.
    • AL max 11%: Alabama min tax is 4%;
    • DC is 5.75%: Washington, District of Columbia
    • FL max 7.5%: Florida min tax is 6%
    • GA max 8%: Georgia min tax is 5%
    • MO max 7.975%: Missouri min tax is 4.225%
    • NY max 9.5%: New York min tax is 4%
    • NC max 8.25%: North Carolina min is 7.75%
    • SC max 8%: South Carolina min is 6%
    • TN max 9.75%: Tennessee min is 8.5%
    • TX max 8.25%: Texas min is 6.5%
    • WV is 6%: West Virginia

Checkout

  • We require a phone number, shipping address (no PO Boxes), and cleared payment before processing any orders.
  • After buyers click Pay Now, you are taken to a form where you can fill in your address and phone number, select any items you have purchased for combined payment, and send seller payment or payment notification through any of the following methods:
    • PayPal (bank account transfer, credit card, echeck)
    • Credit Cards (VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover)
    • Certified Checks (cashier's check, money order
  • For PayPal payments, please be aware that certain forms of payment like echecks may take several days or more to clear.  We will not set up any accounts or ship any items until payment has cleared.  The best way to do this with PayPal is through direct bank transfer.  PayPal is secure, easy, and free for buyers to use.
  • For Credit Card payments (outside PayPal), we will need the account number on the credit card, expiration date, and three digit security code.  You may enter this information in the notes section on the checkout form or you may call it in over the phone at 1-800-282-1977 x.2238 (mention eBay).
  • For Certified Checks, you will receive notification on where to mail this when you select this option at checkout.

Timeline

  • We request that you notify us of your intended method of payment same day of purchase if you do not plan on continuing with payment that day.
  • We request that full payment be made within 7 days from close of auction unless buyer and seller have come to an agreement prior to the seventh day. 
  • If you are the winning buyer, we expect you to follow through with the transaction and fulfill your part. Make sure all concerns are answered before bidding. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to call us at 770-455-8844 or toll free at 800-282-1977 or use the contact seller link.
  • If the item is not paid after 7 days from the end of the auction, we may ask eBay to send a notice reminding the customer that we have not received payment.
  • After 17 days, if we have not heard any response from the buyer, the item will automatically be cancelled, scheduled for another auction and we will ask eBay for a refund of the fees we paid for the auction. As a result, eBay will give buyer an unpaid item strike. We cannot remove the unpaid item strike unless the buyer is willing to pay us for all associated fees of the listing. Buyer will need to send an email to seller if this becomes an issue. Thanks for your understanding.
  • Order processing: We begin processing orders to be scheduled for delivery as soon as all requirements have been met with the customer (phone number, cleared payment, shipping address).  Most orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 48 hours.  If you are in need of expedited/immediate shipment and processing time, please call us toll free at 1-800-282-1977 to speak to a live customer service representative and request, pay or get a quote for expedited services. 
  • Shipping Timeline: Once the order has been processed for delivery, the delivery time is in the hands of the carrier making the delivery.  If the item is in stock in our Atlanta warehouse, we will most often ship from zip code 30341 in Atlanta.  Delivery time typically ranges from 2-5 days depending on location of the customer.  Other items we will most likely ship from the factory warehouse closest to the customer to reduce the delivery time.  If you have a question about the delivery status of your purchase, please call our toll free number at 1-800-282-1977 and simply give your name and/or telephone number to one of our customer service representatives to get your current shipping status. 

Customer Pick-Up Policy

  • Please see individual listings to see if pick-up is an option.  Many items purchased are available for pick up at our Atlanta warehouse Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (please note that we are closed on some holidays). Our friendly warehouse staff will be happy to assist you with the loading of your vehicle.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: SECURING OF THE LOAD IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. ATLANTA FIXTURE ASSUMES NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES AS A RESULT OF LOADS BEING IMPROPERLY OR INADEQUATELY SECURED.
  • All customer pick-ups are subject to 8% Georgia sales tax.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Methods

  • Atlanta Fixture & Sales Company, Inc. uses three shipping methods: FedEx/UPS package delivery, common carrier freight lines, and our trucks in the metro Atlanta area. Not all methods are available for all items.
  • FedEx package delivery is the primary method of shipping for items weighing less than 150 pounds.
  • In addition to standard ground service, we offer a two-day air option and an overnight delivery option. Additional fees are charged for expedited shipping. Please call us if you do not see these options listed and you need immediate service.
  • Common carrier freight lines are used for items that are oversized, weigh over 150 pounds, or are too fragile to ship by air. Shipping only delivers the items to the curbside, it does not include installation services for large equipment nor does it include delivery within your facility. If your order requires special handling such as inside delivery please call before placing order.  Inside delivery does not mean, up stairs, over items, or in general a long way from just inside the door. 
  • We offer standard tailgate delivery by carrier for those who have a loading dock or other unloading capabilities for heavy items. We offer lift-gate service with your standard ground delivery for $75, an option typically chosen from customers without a loading dock who need heavy merchandise lowered to the ground.
  • In metro Atlanta, we have our fleet of delivery vehicles, and do offer inside delivery. Installation is not included.
  • All equipment and supplies are sold FOB our dock in Atlanta, GA 30341 or FOB manufacturer's dock at their facilities' locations. The seller accepts no responsibility for the item after it leaves these docks, with the one exception of it being a delivery in the metro Atlanta area on our own truck.

Damage Claims

  • Atlanta Fixture & Sales Company, Inc. does not accept responsibility for crating and packaging performance, or damage to merchandise after it leaves our warehouse or that of our suppliers (exception: if it was on one of our trucks delivering in the metro Atlanta area.)
  • If damage is sustained during shipment, we will be happy to aid you with handling the damage claim with the freight carrier, however...
  • Filing of damage claims with the freight carrier is the sole responsibility of the customer. *NOTE: Damage claims may take up to 120 days or longer to resolve.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: DAMAGE TO MERCHANDISE MUST BE DOCUMENTED WITH FREIGHT CARRIER BEFORE DEPARTING YOUR LOCATION AND IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO FREIGHT CARRIER'S CLAIMS DEPARTMENT.

Packing 

  • All our heavy items are either crated and/or strapped and wrapped to provide significant deterrence to damage.
  • As of Fall 2005, we added all our wood chairs and stools to the list of merchandise boxed in crates for added protection -- AND at no extra charge to the buyer!
  • Insurance IS PARTIALLY INCLUDED for items shipped via freight lines.

Shipping Policy (outside 48 cont. US)

  • We are willing to ship items outside the 48 contiguous United States.  Please contact Atlanta Fixture if you would like a quote. 
  • If the listing provides you with a shipping calculator, keep in mind that the Shipping Cost calculated does NOT include any applicable Goods and Services Tax, Brokerage Fees, and/or Duties. 
  • If you choose to self-broker this shipment or use your own broker, you must make ALL shipping arrangements and inform Atlanta Fixture of your actions.

Merchandise Conditions

  • All new equipment is sold with the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty issues should be immediately addressed with the manufacturer.
  • We do our best to present each item as accurately as possible. The presentation is based on the information available to us and to our knowledge at time of posting.  We do not guarantee this information's accuracy.  If you see a possible error in our listing, please use the contact seller link to notify us so that we may review it and determine whether changes need to be made.

Return Policy

Stock Orders Less than 30 days from Invoice Date

  • Return due to Product Failure: We replace the item from our inventory, and return the defective item to the factory.
  • Return due to Customer Order Error: We will credit or replace from stock, as applicable.  These returns are subject to repackaging cost if not in original cartons and all freight charges.
  • Return due to Our Error: We will credit or replace from stock, as applicable.  If not in original cartons, a repackaging cost will be added.

Stock Orders Greater than 30 days from Invoice Date

  • Return due to Product Failure: Customer to follow factory defective/warranty plan.
  • Return due to Customer Order Error: Non-returnable.
  • Return due to Processing Error: Generally non-returnable.

Factory Direct Orders

  • Return due to Product Failure: Customer to follow factory defective/warranty plan.
  • Return due to Customer Order Error: Generally non-returnable.  If we can negotiate a return with the supplier, the return is subject to restocking and all freight charges.
  • Return due to Processing Error: (less than 30 days from invoice date) will be credited and arrangements for the return to supplier will be made.
  • Return due to Processing Error: (greater than 30 days from date of invoice) non-returnable.
