AGA - American Gas Association; Part of CSA Certification
ANSI - American National Standards Institute - Standards setting agency for the United States.
BSI - British Standards Institution - Standards setting and certification agency for the United Kingdom.
CE - Conformité Européenne, French for European conformity - The CE Marking is not a quality-mark. First, it refers to safety rather than to the quality of a product. Second, CE Marking is mandatory for the product it applies to, whereas most quality markings are voluntary.  This mandatory European marking for certain product groups indicates conformity with the essential health, safety, and environmental requirements set out in European Directives.  The manufacturers affix the marking to their products in order to be allowed to sell them in the European market.

CGA - Compressed Gas Association; Part of CSA Certification
CSA - Canadian Standards Association - Standards setting and certification agency for Canada. - CSA International - tests products for compliance to national and international standards, and issue certification marks for qualified products. Certification marks tell potential customers and users that a product has been evaluated by a formal process-involving examination, testing and follow-up inspection-and that it complies with applicable standards for safety and performance.

ISO - International Organization for Standardization 
ISO 9000:2000 - the 1994 editions of ISO 9001, ISO 9002 and ISO 9003 should be consolidated into a single revised document, which is now represented by ISO 9001:2000. ISO 22000:2005 - Standard:Requirements for a Food Safety Management System demonstrates an organization's commitment to food safety, and provides a means to demonstrate that an organization is taking the necessary steps to control food safety hazards.  Three parts: 1)Good manufacturing practices 2)HACCP principles 3)Management system requirements. ISO 22000:2005 applies to all organizations, regardless of their size, that impact the food chain. This includes ingredient suppliers, equipment manufacturers, package suppliers, service providers, farmers, food processors, and catering and retailing organizations.
Lift-Gate Service
The lift-gate is the mechanism on the end of the truck that allows the driver to lower heavy equipment to the ground.  This mechanism is not available on all carrier trucks so you must specify this with your payment at checkout before the merchandise is shipped.  Each listing containing heavy merchandise will provide this as an option under shipping choices--If you do not have a loading dock or the capability for getting your merchandise off the truck, we suggest you request lift-gate service for a charge of $75.

NEMA - National Electrical Manufacturer's Association - Standards setting agency for the United States.
NEMA 5-15 The standard to which 15 ampere 125 volt grounded straight blade plugs(P) and their corresponding receptacles(R) (NEMA 5-15P and NEMA 5-15R respectively) of the North American configuration must be manufactured.  Department of Commerce reference, Type B Plug.
NEMA 5-20 The standard to which 20 ampere 125 volt grounded straight blade plugs and their corresponding receptacles (NEMA 5-20P and NEMA 5-20R respectively) of the North American configuration must be manufactured.

NEMA L5-15 The standard to which 15 ampere 125 volt grounded locking plugs and their corresponding receptacles of the North American configuration (NEMA L5-15P and NEMA 5-20R respectively) must be manufactured.  These wiring devices have a locking feature that is designed to prevent accidental disconnects.

NSF (NSF International) - National Sanitation Foundation - Provides HACCP, food safety, water quality, public health, and product testing services. NSF International, an independent, not-for-profit organization, helps protect you by certifying products and writing standards for food, water, air and consumer goods.  NSF is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop American National Standards.  The registered NSF Certification Mark on a food equipment product confirms that NSF has assessed -- and certified -- its conformity with the relevant NSF/ANSI standard. As part of the certification process, the production facility is audited annually. The purpose of this audit is to assure that all the requirements of the standard continue to be met, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed in fabrication, products are sampled and retested on schedule, and labeling and product literature are true and accurate.
SQF - Safe Quality Food - Certification Program. ANSI recognizes NSF as a SQF certification body.
Tail-Gate Delivery
Tail-Gate Delivery is delivery on a standard carrier truck with no lift-gate or lowering device. This type of delivery means the drivers will not be responsible for lowering any equipment on the truck to the ground.  They will deliver it to your loading dock or if you don't have one, then you must find a way to get the equipment down yourself. -- Please keep in mind that all deliveries are quoted as standard tail-gate delivery (outside the metro Atlanta area).
UL - Underwriters Laboratories Inc. - A testing agency for the United States.  When you see the Mark, it means that the product or system on which it appears compares with UL's internationally recognized Standards for Safety. -  They make sure today's lightning protection systems keep up with and protect modern appliances, electrical systems and building constructions.
