Thank you for your interest in one of our freight items. This guide is designed to help answer some of the common questions regarding the special considerations for large freight shipments.
When your freight item ships, an e-mail will be sent to your provided address that contains the following:
"Shipping Company: (ShippingCo)
Tracking ID: (TrackingNum)

Please note: Inspect cargo carefully before signing to receive the order. Make sure the pallet isn't damaged, the stretch wrap hasn't been torn and there's no obvious signs of mishandling. Note all damage on the BOL before signing or refuse the shipment and do not sign at all.
Shipments can be tracked at YRC.com, Saia.com, rlcarriers.com, or FedEx.com. Please contact us for help in tracking shipments from other companies.

IMPORTANT! - We carefully package all of our shipments to the specifications required for this type of equipment. We use poly-banding to secure heavy items and we wrap everything in black plastic to prevent scuffs and abraisions. If you receive the shipment and it does not include black plastic wrap please inspect for damage that may have occured in transit. If the item is damaged please mark this on the delivery reciept and do not accept the shipment.

A note about Freight Damage Claims:
:: If the bill of lading has been signed for with no notation of damage or missing components, a claim cannot be submitted and the item is yours.
:: It is advisable that you print off the e-mail with the freight photo and make sure everyone on your staff is made aware of the consequences for signing a BOL.
:: If the item is being shipped to a separate location (storage facility, satellite office, etc..) please make sure they have a copy of the e-mail & photo as well
