Instructions:
- This necklace looks incredibly complex, but once you learn how to make an ornate beaded bead, you will realize it's not that hard. To begin, watch the video: How to Make an Ornate Beaded Bead using Right Angle Weave Double Needle Method - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miwUu9bLShE
-
Using what you learned in the video, cut 4 feet of Wildfire beading thread in black and thread a needle onto each end. Create 1 ornate beaded bead using 5mm Czech fire polished glass round beads in black and 11/0 Czech seed beads in light gold. When you finish the ornate beaded bead, tie off and weave your thread back into your bead work as show in the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yddc8N5WOL4
-
Follow the same process as in the previous step, this time making:
2 ornate beaded beads using 4mm Czech fire polished round beads in black and 11/0 Czech seed beads in light gold, 2 ornate beaded beads using 3mm Czech fire polished round beads in black and 11/0 Czech seed beads in light gold, 6 ornate beaded beads using 11/0 Toho seed beads in black and 11/0 Czech seed beads in light gold.
Regardless of the size of the beads you are using, you will use the exact same technique as shown in the video you watched.
-
All your beaded beads are now finished. It is time to string the necklace.
-
Cut a 24 inch length of beading wire. Place a bead stopper on one end, making sure to leave a tail of about 4 inches. At this point, decide how long you want your necklace to be. The one pictured is 15 1/2" which makes it a high up collar style necklace. For each extra inch you want, add 2 6mm Swarovski pearls and a spacer bead between them to each side of your necklace. Add these pearls to the directions below.
-
Onto your beading wire, thread 1 gold crimp bead. Next thread 1 gold spacer bead, 1 6mm Swarovski faux pearl in mystic black, another spacer bead, another pearl, another spacer bead, another pearl, and finally another spacer bead. It is at this point you will want to add any extra beads to make your necklace longer.
-
Next, thread onto your beading wire one of your smallest beaded beads, a gold spacer, a 6mm Swarovski pearl, and another spacer. Repeat this sequence another 2 times. Add an 8mm Swarovski faux pearl in mystic black and a gold plated pewter carousel cone bead cap (facing away from the pearl you just strung). Now add an ornate beaded bead which was made using 3mm Czech fire polished beads, another bead cone cap (strung widest side first), a Swarovski 8mm pearl, another bead cone cap (narrow side strung first), an ornate beaded bead made using 4mm Czech fire polished beads, another bead cone cap (widest side first), an 8mm Swarovski pearl, bead cone cap (narrow side strung first), and finally your ornate beaded bead made using 5mm Czech fire polished beads.
-
String the second half of your necklace to make it a mirror image of the first half. If you chose to lengthen your necklace, add any additional beads before you add your end crimp bead. Make sure both sides are identical.
-
After you have added the crimp bead (but have not crimped) thread your beading wire through the loop at the base on one side of your 23k gold plated box clasp. Pull the beading wire through the loop then back around and through the crimp bead again and several beads adjacent to it. Pull snug and crimp the bead. Cut off excess wire.
-
Go to the other side of your necklace and remove the bead stopper. Repeat the step above using the other half of your clasp. Crimp the bead and cut off excess wire.
-
As a finishing touch, place one gold tone crimp cover over each of the crimp beads. Just fit the crimp bead cover on top of the crimped crimp bead so that it surrounds it. Using your chain nose/flat nose pliers, squeeze both sides of the crimp cover until the gap is closed.
-
I hope you enjoy your lovely new necklace.

Tools You'll Need
- Xuron Sharp Flush Cutter Pliers - Wire/Soft Flex (XTL-5600)
- Beadsmith Jeweller's Micro Pliers Chain Nose Flat Nose (XTL-5511)
- Beadsmith Jewelry Fine Round Nose Micro Pliers (XTL-5514)
|
Instructions:
- Follow the directions in this instructional video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaakS09cj6k - to create your kumihimo braid, and to attach the two end caps. Our braid is approximately twenty three inches long, but feel free to make your necklace as long or as short as you'd like.
-
Once you have your braid complete, and the two end caps with loops glued into place, set aside to dry. While the end caps are drying, move onto making the pendant.
-
To make the pendant, first make a series of grape dangles by threading various sized druks onto headpins, creating a simple loop on each, and trimming off excess wire. You will need to make nine of these using the 8mm druks, nine using the 6mm druks, and ten using the 4mm druks. Set these dangles aside as you create the center wire for your bunch of grapes.
-
Cut a piece of 20 gauge brass wire at about five inches long and create a simple wire loop at one end. Thread a 4mm druk onto the wire.
-
Thread a Vintaj leaf toggle onto a head pin, and create a wrapped wire loop. Trim Open a 6mm round brass jump ring. Onto the jump ring, thread nine of the 4mm druk dangles. Close the jump ring again and thread the entire ring, dangles and all, on the 20 gauge wire.
-
Onto the 20 gauge wire, thread eight of the 6mm druk dangles, a single 8mm druk (not a dangle) and nine of the 8mm druk dangles.
-
Make a wrapped wire loop at the top of your "bunch of grapes" and trim off excess wire.
-
Open a 6mm brass jump ring and thread it through the hole at the top of the lucite leaf. Close the jump ring again.
-
Open a large 15mm brass jump ring. Thread it through the loop at the top of the bunch of grapes, and through the jump ring on the lucite leaf. Close the large jump ring again.
-
Thread the entire kumihimo braid through the large jump ring.
-
Use two additional jump rings to join each half of the toggle clasp to each end of the kumihimo braid.

Instructions:
- Note: For this particular project I am choosing to make the necklace rather short, so the pretty crystal bead rests higher up along the neckline. If you prefer a longer necklace, the project kit ingredients allow you to make one up to 24 inches long - just cut your chain length longer in the first step.
-
Cut your beading chain to your desired necklace length, I chose to cut mine at 16".
-
Begin to make this necklace by watching the video: How to Use Beading Chain and Beading Chain End Caps - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OHPeTi9ef0
-
Following what you learned in the video, attach a beading chain end cap to one side of your cut chain and crimp the body of the end cap to secure the chain in place.
-
Slide your bead onto the chain.
-
On the other end of the chain, fasten another beading chain end cap.
-
Open a jump ring and link it to the loop at the end of one of your beading chain end caps fastened to your necklace. Close the jump ring back up.
-
On the other side of your necklace, open another jump ring and link it to that ends beading chain end cap and also the small loop at the base of your clasp. Close the jump ring back up.
All done! It really was that easy to make this necklace!

- 1 (1 package) - Czech Fire Polish Glass Beads 5mm Round Jet Black (50) (BCP-3590)
|
Tools You'll Need
- Bead Stopper- Stop Beads Sliding Off Stringing Material (XTL-3000)
- Standard Size Beading Crimping Pliers (For 2x2mm & 2x1mm Crimp Beads) (XTL-5200)
- Beadsmith Jeweller's Micro Pliers Chain Nose Flat Nose (XTL-5511)
|
Instructions:
- Begin by cutting 4 lengths of beading wire, 32 inches long each. Take 1 length of wire and place a bead stopper on one end, leaving a tail of approximately 3 inches. String onto the wire one of your crimp tubes (do not crimp) and then string a random pattern of seed beads, oval Czech fire polished and round Czech fire polished beads. I chose to string 2 - 4 inches of seed beads and then put one, two, or three of the larger Czech beads and repeated that until I had 25 inches strung. The sequence is completely up to you, one thing to keep in mind is that once you have strung 12 inches, you will want to have a space of seed beads for the next inch so that when you place your pendant on later, it will be at a narrower span you are attaching it to.
-
Once you have strung 25 inches of beads, string another crimp tube, again not crimping yet. Now thread one end of your wire through the loop on one section of your toggle clasp. Thread the wire back through your crimp tube and a couple of the beads next to it. Pull snug and crimp the crimp tube. Cut off excess beading wire.
-
Remove the bead stopper at the other end of your strand and repeat the above step to secure the other half of your toggle clasp.
-
Repeat all of the above steps another 2 times so that you have 3 strands of beads all attached to your toggle clasp halves. For the 4th strand, bead it the same way as above, attach it to one of your toggle clasp halves with a crimp tube but before removing the bead stopper on the other end, twist this strand around the other already secured strands. You might need to add a few more beads at the end if your beaded strand ends up being too short from the twisting. When you are happy with how it looks, remove the bead stopper and secure the strand to the other half of the toggle clasp using a crimp tube.
-
Open a jump ring and attach it to your Vintaj Arte Metal pendant. Find the half way point of your necklace and place the jump ring so that all 4 strands are going through the ring. Close the jump ring.
|
Bonus Project: B605 - Stormy Night Bracelet
-
Just add another toggle clasp to your cart (FCL-7708) and use your left over beads to make a matching bracelet. Follow all the same instructions for the necklace but instead of cutting 32 inch long lengths of wire, cut 5 lengths 12 inches long each. You can make the bracelet as long as you like to fit your wrist. Enjoy!

-
This entire project is demonstrated in the video: How to Make Earrings Using Soft Flex Beading Wire - http://www.beadaholique.com/t-video-How-To-Make-Earrings-Using-Soft-Flex-Beading-Wire.aspx
-
If you prefer written instructions, please see below:
-
Begin by cutting a 12 inch length of Soft Flex Extreme beading wire in 24k gold. Place a bead stopper on one end.
-
String onto your beading wire: 1 Swarovski crystal 4mm bicone bead in dark indigo, 1 Toho 11/0 seed bead in gold lined rainbow peridot, another bicone, another seed bead, etc. until you have a total of 6 Swarovski bicones with seed beads between them strung onto your beading wire. Next, string on 1 Swarovski crystal 8mm bicone pendant in khaki. Repeat the same sequence of 4mm bicone beads and seed beads on the other side of your bicone pendant.
-
String on another Swarovski crystal 8mm bicone pendant in khaki.
-
Remove your bead stopper from the end you started on. Slide all your beads so they rest in the middle of the beading wire and you are holding a beading wire tail in each hand. Take the end which you just removed the bead stopper from and pass it through the 8mm bicone you strung in the previous step, in the opposite direction of the other end of beading wire. The two ends of the beading wire will criss-cross within the bicone pendant. Pull snug to form a loop.
-
Now pass each beading wire tail through the adjacent 4mm bicone on their respective sides of the 8mm pendant.
-
String onto each beading wire tail: 1 Toho 11/0 seed bead in gold lined rainbow peridot, 1 Swarovski crystal 4mm bicone bead in dark indigo, another seed bead, another bicone bead, another seed bead, another bicone bead, and another seed bead.
-
Onto one of the beading wire tails, string a 1.5mm gold plated crimp tube.
-
Take the tail which does not have the crimp tube on it and pass the end through the crimp tube in the opposite direction, making the two ends of beading wire criss-cross within the crimp tube. Pull snug to form a loop.
-
Now pass each beading wire tail through the seed bead and bicone adjacent to the crimp tube (on each side).
-
Pull snug and crimp the crimp tube. Cut off excess beading wire with flush cutters.
-
Open the loop at the base of your earring hook (the same way you would open a jump ring and link it around the crimped crimp tube. Close the loop back up.
-
Enjoy your new earrings!

Instructions:
- Remember to double these instructions to make your matched pair of earrings. Also, make sure to work in a well lit area for this project, you are doing some intricate bead weaving and good light is imperative. This is what I would consider an intermediate to advanced project, please consider this when beginning.
-
To start, please watch the video on How to Circular Brick Stitch Around A Ring. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IBjuCXq7Kg
-
Thread a size 12 needle with 5 feet of Wildfire beading thread. You will need to run the tail of the thread between your thumb's fingernail and the pad of your index finger to flatten the tip so that it is thin enough to go through the eye of your needle.
-
Following what you learned in the video, begin to circular brick stitch around one of your 20mm diamond cut quick link rounds using 11/0 Toho round seed beads in metallic amethyst gun metal. Stitch 13 beads. Next, continuing around the ring, switch to using Miyuki Delica 11/0 seed beads in silver lined mauve until you reach the first bead you started with and have completed the round.
-
Next, begin to stitch a second row of the silver lined mauve beads on top of the 13 metallic amethyst gun metal beads. If you need to, add an extra bead in this row so that you have an even number stitched, even if this means your second row overlaps on top of some of the mauve first row beads in addition to the amethyst ones. After this row, stitch a decorative edge - http://www.beadaholique.com/t-video-How-to-Add-a-Decorative-Beaded-Edge-to-Bead-Weaving.aspx?CAWELAID=975382778 - using 1 mauve bead, 1 amethyst bead, and 1 mauve bead for each picot edge. When done, tie off your thread and incorporate the thread into your beadwork. - http://www.beadaholique.com/t-video-How-to-Tie-Off-and-Add-New-Thread-in-Bead-Weaving.aspx
-
Thread your needle with 3 feet of Wildfire beading thread. Take 1 Swarovski 6mm flower margarita bead in vitrial and bead weave 1 row of Toho round seed beads in metallic amethyst gunmetal around the edge. You will do this the same way you would bead weave around a ring, going in and out of the hole and around the edge. After you have completed the first row, bead weave a second row using Miyuki Delica beads in silver lined mauve. Tie off your thread.
-
We are now going to add the interior asymmetrical beads, attach the round we just made, and make a small loop at the top of our ring. See photo. To do this, string 3 feet of Wildfire thread onto a size 12 needle. Holding the beaded ring with the decorative edge facing downward, find the top center bead. Now, move over one bead, and going from the bottom up, stitch through that bead so your thread with the needle comes out the top of the bead. Make sure to leave at least a 6 inch tail. String 1 Toho amethyst bead, 2 Miyuki mauve beads, and 1 more Toho amethyst bead. Skip over that direct middle bead and stitch down through the next bead. Stitch in and out of several beads along the edge of the ring. Look at the photo of this project to see the placement of the round you created in the last step. Stitch this to the interior of your ring, off center. Just stitch through the beads in the round and those on the ring to attach it. Once it is secure, continue stitching in and out of beads on your ring, until you get about 1/3 along your ring, and then you will need to add the beads in the interior.
-
Exiting one of the beads in the direction of the interior, string 1 Miyuki mauve bead, 1 4mm Swarovski round bead in vitrial, and another mauve bead. See photo. Now run the tip of the needle under one of the thread bridges along the interior edge of the ring, pull all the way through so that the beads you just strung form a gentle arch around the interior. Repeat this step another time. Repeat this step again but use a 6mm Swarovski round bead in vitrial instead of the 4mm. And finally, repeat this step another time but go back to the 4mm round.
-
Tie off your thread and incorporate the thread into the bead work.
-
Thread your needle with 3 feet of Wildfire beading thread. Take 1 Swarovski 6mm flower margarita bead in vitrial and bead weave 1 row of Toho round seed beads in metallic amethyst gunmetal around the edge. You will do this the same way you bead weave around a ring, going in and out of the hole and around the edge. After you have completed the first row, bead weave a second row using Miyuki Delica beads in silver lined mauve. For the third row, create a decorative edge using 1 Miyuki Delica 11/0 seed beads in silver lined mauve, 1 11/0 Toho round seed beads in metallic amethyst gun metal, and another Miyuki Delica 11/0 seed beads in silver lined mauve for each segment. Go around your entire edge. For the last step, go through your bead work so that you exit one of the metallic amethyst beads along the edge. String onto your thread 2 mauve beads and then pass your needle back down through the metallic amethyst bead on the decorative edge segment next to the one you started from. Work your needle and thread through your beadwork to make sure your loops are secure. Tie off your thread.
-
At this point you have two separate bead woven components and now we need to link them together with a jump ring and add an earring hook.
-
Open a 3mm sterling silver jump ring and use it to attach the two bead woven pieces. Please see photo for the area of attachment.
-
Carefully thread the end of your sterling silver ear wire through one of the decorative edge loops on your smaller bead woven piece, opposite where the jump ring is placed. Pull the earring hook through so the bead woven components sit properly on it.
-
Whew! Making this earring was a lot of work but the result is worth it!

Instructions:
- This project consists of over 30 identical beaded segments with simple loops on either end. So before starting this project, please watch the video on how to make a simple wire loop.
-
Take an antique brass eye pin and thread onto it 1 antique brass diamond cut-out 6mm round bead, 1 antique brass corrugated bead cap, 1 green jade bead, another corrugated bead cap, and finally another antique brass diamond cut-out round bead. Create a simple wire loop after the last bead. Cut off excess wire with flush cutters. At this point, check to make sure that your simple wire loops are both facing the same direction and that they are secure. Use your pliers to conform the wire as needed. Make a total of 33 of these segments, exactly alike.
-
Take 1 3" brass head pin and string onto it: 1 antique brass 4mm round bead, the loop from one of your segments above, the loop at the base of one half of a magnet clasp, another 2 round brass beads, the loop from one of your segments above, another 2 round brass beads, the loop at the base of one half of a second magnet clasp, the loop from one of your segments above, another 2 round brass beads, the loop from one of your segments above, another 2 round brass beads, the loop at the base of one half of a third magnet clasp, the loop from one of your segments above, and finally another round brass bead. At this point, hold your head pin with all the beads on it so that gravity helps to pull the beads down towards the head. Try to fit them together as tightly as possible with no gaps. Create a wrapped wire loop after the last brass bead you added. Cut off excess wire with flush cutters.
-
Take another 3" brass head pin and thread onto it: 1 antique brass 4mm round bead, the loop on the other end of the first segment you strung in the last step, the loop on the end of a segment created earlier, another 2 round brass beads, the loop on the other end of the second segment you strung in the last step, the loop on the end of another segment created earlier, another 2 round brass beads, the loop on the other end of the third segment you strung in the previous step, the loop from one of your segments created earlier, another 2 round brass beads, the loop on the other end of the fourth segment you strung in the previous step, the loop on another segment created earlier, another 2 round brass beads, the loop on the other end of the fifth segment you strung in the previous step, the loop from another segment, and finally 1 round brass bead. . Hold your head pin with all the beads on it so that gravity helps to pull the beads down towards the head. Try to fit them together as tightly as possible with no gaps. Create a wrapped wire loop after the last brass bead you added. Cut off excess wire with flush cutters.
-
Repeat the last step until you have 6 panels of bead segments connected together. Wait until the next step to finish attaching the last side of the sixth panel. So it will be 6 panels, 5 bead segments wide each. Please see photo. Please also note that you will want to vary whether you connect the loop on the other end of the previously strung segment first or the loop at the end of a "new" segment (when you are placing them on your head pin). If you continually place onto the head pin the loop at the end of the previously strung segment first, then the loop of the new segment, your bracelet will begin to slant. So mix it up, sometimes string on the new segments loop first, then the previously strung segment's loop and vice versa.
-
When you get to the last panel and have all 5 bead segments attached via a head pin to the previous panel, then please follow these instructions for completing this side of the bracelet.
-
Take a 3" brass head pin and place onto it 1 small round brass bead. Next, place onto the head pin the loop on the other end of the of the first beaded segment you attached in the last panel, the loop on the end of a new beaded segment, 2 small round brass beads, the loop on the other end of the second beaded segment from the last panel, 2 more round brass beads, the loop at the end of another beaded segment, the loop at the other end of the third beaded segment from the last panel, 2 more brass beads, the loop on the other end of the fourth beaded segment from the last panel, another 2 brass beads, the loop on the end of another beaded segment (this should be your last segment), the end loop of the fifth beaded segment from the last panel, and finally another small round brass bead. Make sure your beads are all snug close together and create a wrapped wire loop after the last brass bead. Cut off excess wire with flush cutters.
-
Almost done! On the three beaded segments which stick out from the "solid" part of your bracelet, open the simple wire loop at the end of each and attach the other half of the magnetic clasps you attached to the other end of your bracelet. Attach one magnet half to each beaded segment. Close the loops back up.
-
Take 1 head pin and place onto it 1 small round brass bead. Create a simple wire loop after the bead and cut off excess with flush cutters. Make a total of 7 of these.
Open the simple loop from one of your dangles created in the previous step, and connect it to one of the wrapped wire loops along the edge of your bracelet. Repeat this step with your other 6 dangles.
-
All done! Enjoy!
-
Tip: Even if you are accustomed to following directions online, go ahead and print these directions. It will be easier to follow along (I had to print them just to make sure I didn't miss a step).
-
Tip: A great tool to use instead of round nose pliers for this project are looping pliers. You are making a great deal of loops and having these pliers speeds up the process and helps to make uniform, perfect loops. You can check them out here: http://www.beadaholique.com/p-10543-wire-looping-pliers-concave-and-round-nose.aspx

Next, string onto you wire:
-
Design notes: one reason this bracelet looks so striking is due to the contrasting colors and finishes of the Tila beads. If they were to "match" too much, the design would not pop - keep this in mind if you are picking out your own color sc

|
Instructions:
- To make this handsome bracelet, first watch our instructional video on how to make a simple 8-warp kumihimo braid - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaakS09cj6k.
-
Start with eight pieces of hemp at twenty four inches long each.
-
Create a kumihimo braid which is approximately one inch longer than you want your finished length to be. Since we are creating a bracelet for a man, the finished length will be around eight inches, minus the hook and loop portion of the clasp.
-
When you have made the braid one inch longer than the finished length, remove it from the kumihimo disk and cut off excess hemp.
-
Using clear tape, tightly bind each end as shown in the video.
-
Onto your kumihimo braid, thread your Pandora-style beads. The center bead will be a tight fit and will stay put in the middle of the bracelet. The Celtic braid beads will have a looser fit and will move about. The two swirl bracelets are also tight and should be placed about an inch and a half away from either end.
-
Using a sharp pair of scissors or your flush cutters, trim down your tape ends to about one quarter of an inch.
-
Spread a small amount of E600 on each end of the bracelet, and insert them into the cord ends.
-
Set aside to dry for a few hours, and then your new bracelet will be ready to wear!

Instructions:
- To start this bracelet, please watch the video: How to Do a Flat Right Angle Weave - Single Needle - http://www.beadaholique.com/t-video-How-to-Do-a-Flat-Right-Angle-Weave-Single-Needle.aspx.
-
We are going to make the body of the bracelet using right angle weave. Start by watching our How to Condition Thread for Bead Weaving - http://beadaholique.com/t-video-How-to-Condition-Thread-for-Bead-Weaving.aspx - video and then conditioning a 4 foot length of Nymo nylon beading thread and thread your needle onto the thread.
-
String 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic, 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in antique cream pearl, 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic, and 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in antique cream pearl. Following what you learned in the video, create your first unit of 4 beads with these beads. Pick up more beads and right angle weave a total of 8 units. Some bead weaving instructions refer to these sections as unit columns. You want to end with 8 units in total before going to your next row. Refer back to the video as to how to create the second row.
-
Keep right angle weaving a total of 60 rows. You will need to tie off and add new thread - http://beadaholique.com/t-video-How-to-Tie-Off-and-Add-New-Thread-in-Bead-Weaving.aspx - multiple times throughout the length of your bracelet. 60 rows will equal a tight bracelet which is about 6 1/2" long. After approximately the 55th row, start to hold the bracelet against your wrist to see how many rows you want to make in total for a comfortable fit. The clasp is only going to add another 1/4" to the the length. You might find that your bracelet needs to be 65, 70, or 75 rows. Make it so that it will be comfortable to wear. When you are finished, tie off your thread and incorporate into your bead weaving.
-
Set aside your right angle weave work for now and watch the following video: How to do Circular Brick Stitch Bead Weaving around a Bead - http://www.beadaholique.com/t-video-how-to-do-circular-brick-stitch-bead-weaving-around-a-bead.aspx. This video actually demonstrates the exact ingredients and items used in this project.
-
Following what you learned in the above video; cut, condition, and thread a needle onto a 4 foot length of Nymo nylon beading thread. String onto it 1 Swarovski 8mm round pearl. Around the circumference of the pearl, brick stitch a row of size 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic. Next, brick stitch a row of 11/0 Czech seed bead in antique cream pearl and another row of 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic. Tie off your thread and weave it back into your beadwork. Repeat this entire step with a second Swarovski 8mm round pearl.
-
Repeat the above step to complete a third unit of brick stitching around a pearl, but this time when you finish the third row, do not tie off your thread. Instead, watch the video How to Add a Decorative Beaded Edge to Bead Weaving - http://www.beadaholique.com/t-video-How-to-Add-a-Decorative-Beaded-Edge-to-Bead-Weaving.aspx. Using Swarovski 3mm round pearls and size 11/0 Czech seed beads in light gold supra metallic, create a decorative beaded edge on the unit you just completed with brick stitching around the 8mm pearl.
-
Look at the photo of the project for placement of these three beaded "buttons". The one with the decorative edge is in the very middle of the bracelet. On each end of the bracelet there is one of the "plainer" buttons. All three are going to be sewn in place. To do so, first cut, condition, and thread a needle onto a 2 foot length of Nymo thread. Let's start with the middle button. Take your needle and going from the back of your bracelet to the front, at the exact center of your bracelet (both length and width) pull your threaded needle through the bracelet center. Pull until you have an 8" tail remaining on the backside and the rest of the thread and the needle on the front side. Now thread your needle through one of the Czech seed beads in light gold supra metallic which is part of the first brick stitched row around the 8mm pearl in the button with the decorative edge.
-
Pull this button so that it lays tightly against the right angle woven beads of your bracelet. Make sure not to pull that 8" tail out of the back. Now sew through one of the beads in your bracelet and then back up through another bead in that first brick stitched row of the button. There is not an exact science to this, you are just trying to sew the button (through its beadwork) to the beads which make up the body of the bracelet. Try to sew in and out of the beads themselves vs. the threads connecting them. Also try to hide your stitching as much as possible. Make sure to secure the button on opposite sides, not just one section but sections across from each other. Once you have made several passes through, gently tug on the button to see how secure it is. When you feel like it is securely sewn onto the beadwork below it, tie off your thread. Go back and incorporate that 8" tail into your bead weaving and tie it off.
-
Repeat the above step with your two "plainer" buttons - one on each end of the bracelet. One of these buttons is going to act as half of our clasp.
-
Now all we have left to do is make the loop which is going to slip around one of the above side buttons.
-
To make this beaded loop, begin by cutting, conditioning, and threading a needle onto 2 feet of Nymo thread.
-
Choose the side of the bracelet where you want to have the loop be connected to. On this side, weave your needle and thread into the beadwork 2 rows back from the edge, leaving a tail of 8". Work your thread in and out of the beads until you arrive at the outer edge and your needle is exiting the edge bead of the 3rd unit (going towards the center of the bracelet). String onto it 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in antique cream pearl and 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic. String 1 Swarovski 3mm round pearl. Next, string 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic, 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in antique cream pearl, 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic, 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in antique cream pearl, etc. until you end up with a total of 33 beads after the pearl, alternating between gold, cream, gold, cream.... your last bead should be another gold one. Now pass your needle through the Swarovski 3mm pearl which is already strung and pull tightly to create a loop. Make sure your thread is tight and that loop is resting on the edge of your bracelet. Now string 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in light gold supra metallic and 1 size 11/0 Czech seed bead in antique cream pearl. Pass your needle now through the bead on the edge of your bracelet which makes up the 6th unit in right angle weave along the edge. Weave your thread in and out of the the beads along the first 2 rows of your bracelet.

Tie off your thread and incorporate the tail into the bead weaving. Go back to that 8" tail you left when you started the loop and tie it off and incorporate back into your bead weaving.
-
All done! Hope you enjoyed!
