Shipping Restrictions:

Basically about every food product and plants are allowed into USA mainland with the exception of some fruits and plant items not listed in our store because of Dept of Agriculture restrictions. See Delivering to Military Stations if you have an APO/AE/FPO address.

International Delivery:

As much as we'd like to ship Worldwide, there are certain Customs Restrictions that do not allow certain food and plant items into some International Countries. We encourage International buyers to check with us before making any food and/or plant purchase.

Perishable and Non-Perishable Items

Define Perishable = liable to perish : liable to spoil or decay <such perishable products as fruit, vegetables, butter, and eggs>
Perishable foods are not covered by shipping insurance. We ship perishable items like plants via Priority Mail but Express Mail is sometimes offered for non- established plants. Other perishables like some fruits and frozen foods are just not cost effective to buyers, neither to some sellers. IE: Cost for 5 dozens of large Pasteles en Hoja= US$99.95 plus s&h of almost $150.00 dollars. This is due to this package weight plus very expensive packaging materials like dry ice,  Styrofoam coolers, waxed box etc.

Delivering to Military Stations

Foods and Plants

• All International Customs Restrictions apply for packages sent to Military Stations outside of USA.

• We only ship Approved-Non-Perishable, fresh, sealed in original containers.

• Must have an APO/AE/FPO mailing address with USA Zip code

• Packages will mail out on Mondays or Wednesday only.

• Packages sent outside of USA includes no delivery confirmation number.

• Insurance is not included in Handling fee.

• Buyer is responsible for re-shipping and return fees associated with soldier's transfer to another Station or Post.

Customizing your "Care Package"

Each "Care Package" will contain a list of goods included in that individual auction. But let's say you don't drink coffee or dislike soups, then what to do? What if you'd like to add more items to your package? What if the food item I want is not listed in your store inventory? What if you'd like to send a note inside of the box for your loved one (s)? Communication is the First step to customizing your Care Package, E-Mail us!

FAQ:

How come Armed Forces get Free shipping on "Foods Care Packages"?

• Because it is already hard enough for some of us to find these products in local Supermarkets much more for Troops stationed in the dessert or around the Globe. We DO Support our Troops!

What if I don't have an APO/AE/FPO mailing address but would like to have this package delivered to my friend stationed in Kwait or Iraq?

• Not a problem. The Free Shipping Offer applies to any APO/AE/FPO address even if that address is not the one registered in your Paypal or eBay account. Be sure to E-Mail us a note with final destination point.

I am not in the Armed Forces so what is my advantage on buying this item?

• You'll get the advantage of discounted S&H Vs. paying high shipping rates on single purchases. You will also save time, fuel, traffic, long cashier lines. Imagine going from one Supermarket to the other when you can not find all your groceries in just one. Buy from the comfort of your home and at your own pace.

Why not all products in your store are available in Food Care Packages?

• Because we ship out from about 5 different warehouses throughout United States. An item located in LA can not be combined with one in Puerto Rico, California or Florida.

So which food items can I exchange for, and what if I don't see the food product I want in your store inventory?

• Usually products listed under the Same Store Category are eligible for exchange but again, before you make your purchase you want to check with us via email just to be sure and to avoid possible shipping delays.

What if I'd like to send a note inside of the box to my loved one (s)?

• Thought you'd never ask! Our fax number will be provided once your purchase is completed. All you have to do is handwrite your letter of message to your loved one and we'll make sure it is included inside of this box! Other alternatives? E-Mail us your letter or note and we'll print it out for you.

Please keep in mind that care package's price is subject to change if exchanged item(s) is listed at a higher price. Our Care Package's box measures 11" X 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" so, any pre-approved by seller item is good as long as we can fit it in this box.
