ARE YOUR ITEMS AUTHENTIC?

  • All of the items we sell are 100% authentic! We do not support the counterfeit industry and therefore do not support it by selling counterfeit items. We purchase all our items directly from the stores or discount outlets as well as wholesalers and surplus and overstock dealers. We have all receipts. Some of our items are obtained at discount outlets or are part of overstock inventory they may not have retail tags or be marked on the inside tags to avoid store returns. Also, some may be considered factory seconds. All this information is disclosed in the listing.

DO YOU COMBINE SHIPPING?

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

  • Payment must be received within 2 days of end of listing to avoid further action by Ebay. If you are wanting to combine shipping with other items that have not ended, please contact us and we make note of your intentions. Please do not assume that we know you are waiting for other auctions to end or that you have gone on vacation and intend to pay upon your return. You must communicate any information about your payment to us to avoid further action from Ebay.

  • WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS?

    • Handling charges consists of management fees, packaging fees, fuel and time and sometimes insurance (up to $100 is included with Expedited Parcel (Canada and USA and Small Packets USA/International) – purchase additional insurance if needed). Shipping costs are the actual costs charged by Canada Post, which is the carrier of choice. Please note that Canada Posts bases their rates on dimensions and weight and that is the same way we have to base our rates.

    DO YOU ACCEPT LOCAL PICK UP?

    • Since we are not a retail store, we are not able to accommodate Local pick up!

    WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING TIMES?

    • We ship Monday - Friday - No shipments on Saturday and Sunday as Canada Post does not deliver/pick up on weekends. If you have made a purchase after 2pm (pst) on a Friday, your item will ship the following Monday. Any sales on weekends ship on Monday. Please understand that after 2pm on Friday to Sunday are not included in the 24hr handling time estimated on each listing. Please read each listing as the handling times may vary per listing. 

    WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?

    • Most Canadian destination parcels are sent Expedited Parcel unless otherwise stated on the listing. Estimated time of arrival is approximately 1-7 business days. Most USA destination parcels are sent Small Packets Air/Expedited Parcel USA or Light Parcel depending on the item. Arrival time depends on volume and customs. We cannot be held responsible for delays at customs. Also, if an item is not claimed at destination or cannot be delivered and it is returned to sender (seller) the buyer is responsible for any charges incurred to return the item back to them. In other words any shipping charges due to return the item back to you is your responsibility and the item will not be sent back until these charges are paid. Also, if the buyer decides not to have the item return, then a refund will be issued less the cost of the original shipping and handling charges and a 25% RESTOCKING FEE.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ITEM IS RETURNED TO SENDER?

    • If an item is return to sender due to wrong address (given by buyer) or left at postal facility too long (not picked up) then it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay additional shipping costs to return the item back to them. A signature at destination will be required to avoid further issues. Also, please note that if the original purchase include FREE SHIPPING, this does not apply for an item being return to buyer due to the above criteria therefore additional charges for shipping will apply. Free Shipping applies to the original purchase only! If the buyer opts to not have the item return a 25% RESTOCKING fee will be applied before a refund is given. As well as original shipping costs are 100% NON REFUNDABLE. No exceptions. See above question, as additional information is given.

    WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DUTIES OR TAXES AT DESTINATION?

    • PER EBAY PLEASE READ CAREFULLY “International Buyers – Please Note: * Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. * Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.” * “These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.” * “We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ - Canadian and International government regulations prohibit such behaviour.” ~Please be aware that any duties or taxes due at destination are the sole responsibility of the buyer and we will not be held responsible for any amounts that may be due.     ARE SOME ITEMS SENT LETTER POST OR LIGHT PACKET USA/INTERNATIONAL?

    • All items are charged as parcel unless otherwise stated but there may be a time when some are sent letter mail. Some cosmetics are sent letter post or light packet to save on shipping costs to the buyer - makeup, eyeshadows, lipsticks etc are removed from their boxes -boxes flattened - in order to qualify for letter post rate or light packet rate but item is always sent in a bubble envelope to minimize breakage but unfortunately not guaranteed on letter post(if possible). These services, however, do not include insurance and may take longer than parcel post. As well the buyer assumes the risk of lost or broken item (makeup). If you would like your item to be insured, please advise prior to purchase so your invoice can be adjusted with the correct parcel post rate or choose the parcel rate offered at checkout(if offered or available). Otherwise, it will be sent letter or light packet. Also, some clothing may be advertised as FREE SHIPPING. The service with free shipping (unless otherwise stated) is letter post or light packet. Letter post or light packet is not an insurable service and therefore any lost or stolen item are the sole responsibility of the buyer.     For international deliveries, including United States, please take into consideration delays at customs. We are not responsible for these delays.  As indicated above, tracking number is only available for USA shipment if Canada Post Expedited Service is chosen. If Small Packets service is chosen no tracking number is available. International buyers (Excluding USA) air shipping takes approx. 6-12 business days excluding any delay at customs. No tracking number available for International shipments.

    CAN YOU PROVIDE A TRACKING NUMBER FOR MY INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT?

    • Unfortunately, NO. Canada Post does not offer tracking number service for any international shipment (Except USA - if sent Expedited Parcel) therefore we can't provide this information. Please see above chart. 

    WHAT DO I DO IF MY ITEM HAS NOT ARRIVED AND I BELIEVE IT TO BE LOST?

    • If your item was insured (Expedited Parcel Canada/USA or Small Packets USA/International - services insured) Then a claim can be filed with Canada Post. The claim can only be filed by the sender (Btips and Co). Canada Post has a very strict policy on claims and in order to be able to file a claim all rules must be followed. Canadian claims can be filled immediately after guarantee date has been missed. For International and USA claims there is a waiting period of 45 days from date of shipment before a claim can be started. Once claim has began, Canada Post will investigate the claim and this can take up to 90 days for International and USA shipments. Once this period has elapsed, a refund will be given by Canada Post. Please understand this information when asking about your lost/stolen item. This procedure is put in place by Canada Post and not by us.
      If your item is lost or stolen and you have chosen a uninsured service (Letter post or Light Packet USA/International)then you have asumed the risk. This information is very clearly laid out that these services do not include insurance and therefore the buyer is responsible for lost or stolen items. If you would prefer an insured service, you must ask prior to bidding/purchasing and be prepared to pay additional charges to cover the costs of insurance or to upgrade your service. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAIL SERVICE AND ONCE A PARCEL LEAVES OUR HANDS IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MAIL CARRIER AND YOURS IF YOU CHOSE A SERVICE WITHOUT INSURANCE.

    ARE YOUR SHIPPING CHARGES NEGOTIABLE?

    • NO! We charge a flat rate fee across Canada no matter where you live. What you see is what you pay. The same rule applies to USA and International destinations.No Exceptions.

    DO YOU ACCEPT REFUNDS?

    • ALL SALES ARE FINAL!. We spend a lot of time writing very descriptive listings and providing very detailed pictures. If you are not sure about the item, all questions must be asked prior to bidding to receive all the information necessary for a successful transaction. Please understand that under very unique circumstances (items of sensitive nature - cosmetics, under garments, hats, bras will not be considered even if unworn and still tagged!) a refund will be issued but it will not include the original shipping and handling charges and a 25% RESTOCKING FEE will be charged. This fee is charged to cover the cost of custom fees (if applicable), seller fees, ebay fees etc.. These fees are non refundable to the seller therefore if an item is returned, fees are still due. If item is accepted for return, it must be sent back with a tracking information to verify shipment. Also, if this is an international transaction, do not use a courrier service (UPS, FEDEX etc) as these carriers charge a brokerage fee to receiver and if so the item will be refused.

    DO YOU ACCEPT EXCHANGES?

    • NO, under very unique circumstances we might accept an exchange but each case is addressed individually and if an exchange is allowed it MUST be for the same item in either a larger/smaller size - no exception or combination of items. Shipping/handling charges not included.

    WHAT IF AN ITEM IS FLAWED OR MISREPRESENTED?

    • If you receive an item that is flawed or misrepresented in any way, please provide sufficient information and pictures to justify your claim. Each claim will be assessed individually. If the item is found flawed or misrepresented, several options will be provided to the buyer to complete the transaction satisfactory.THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO MAKEUP - NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES OR RETURNS BECAUSE OF HYGIENIC REASONS.

    IF A REFUND IS NECESSARY, DO YOU REFUND SHIPPING AND HANDLING AND WHAT ABOUT THE COSTS TO RETURN THE ITEM TO YOU?

    • All items will be assessed individually, but all costs to return the item to us are non negotiable and non refundable. The buyer is responsible for all charges incurred to return the item back to Btips and Co. as well it is the buyer’s choice what method of shipment they use to return the item. If the item is lost in transit, Btips and Co. is not responsible and will not grant a refund/exchange until the return is received.

    DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    • Yes we do. All cosmetics are also shipped internationally except to GERMANY in which case they MUST be boxed in their original packaging. Otherwise, shipments to GERMANY are not permitted and any purchases from GERMANY for UNBOXED items will be canceled. This is to comply with import regulations and Ebay policies. Please read listings carefully as well familiarize yourself with the above information on customs duties/taxes due at destination.
