We want to let you know that we aren't making any money on shipping.  We do insure every package, which also adds to the cost, but the rates are determined by the USPS -- we have no control over them.  When the item has a long way to travel, sometimes shipping via FedEx Ground is a better option -- unfortunately, the eBay shipping calculate doesn't offer it, but you can always send us a message and we'll check out the rates for you.
