...the USPS charges shipping rates based not only on the weight of the package, but the distance it has to travel. Shipping items 1 pound or less via USPS Priority Mail is the same rate no matter where you live in the US. But as soon as you go over 1 pound, the rates start to increase. So, since we're in Indiana, shipping to the West Coast can get pretty steep.
We want to let you know that we aren't making any money on shipping. We do insure every package, which also adds to the cost, but the rates are determined by the USPS -- we have no control over them. When the item has a long way to travel, sometimes shipping via FedEx Ground is a better option -- unfortunately, the eBay shipping calculate doesn't offer it, but you can always send us a message and we'll check out the rates for you.
Payment is expected within 7 days unless other arrangements are made. If purchasing multiple items, please wait to pay until we send you a combined invoice. Delivery confirmation and insurance are included in the shipping total. Most purchases will be shipped the following Monday, Wednesday, or Friday after payment is received. |
