SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All safe orders weighing 85 lbs or more are shipped via LTL Freight Carriers. The freight carrier provides either dock or curbside delivery based upon delivery location. Curbside delivery is defined as delivery of the freight as close to the actual delivery address as possible. Please remember the size of the tractor trailer and certain safety precautions may prevent the freight carrier from delivering the freight at the actual curb or delivery address. Lift-gate service is available at no additional charge and it is the sole responsibility of the customer to coordinate inside delivery of the freight with the trucking company, sub-contractors, and/or themselves. The freight carrier is not responsible for the inside delivery of any freight and inside delivery is not a service that Cobalt Safes offers. Cobalt Safes utilizes the services of UPS Parcel on all safe orders weighing 85 lbs or less. All safes are shipped via UPS Ground for cost effectiveness. Safe shipment can be upgraded to Next Day or 2nd Day Air per customer’s request and at cost to the customer, if available. Any address corrections, re-consignments, or storage issues due to freight being undeliverable will not be the responsibility of Cobalt Safes and may result in additional fees. The customer will be contacted and advised of any additional fees prior to Cobalt Safes providing the freight carrier with any written or verbal authorizations regarding any changes in the shipment. Upon contact, it will be the responsibility of the customer to find a resolution to the issues in a timely manner. Cobalt Safes reserves the right to authorize the return of any freight found undeliverable where the customer, after repeated attempts, is found to be unavailable for contact. Customer will be charged for all freight to and from the point of delivery regardless if the buyer was eligible for free shipping in all instances where freight is determined to be undeliverable and is returned to any Cobalt Safes warehouse. Freight that is returned because it is deemed undeliverable will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
INSPECTION FOR DAMAGE PROCESS
In a timely manner all LTL Freight deliveries must be inspected for damage at time of delivery. All packaging should be inspected for any noticeable signs of damage to include tears, indentions, and friction marks to the packaging. All freight shipped by Cobalt Safes is shipped in an upright manner and is never wrapped in plastic. Any signs of damage to the packaging, freight not being delivered upright, and/or freight wrapped in plastic are justified reasons for the customer to require further inspection of the actual freight itself. All damaged freight must be refused at time of delivery. If the damage is minimal and acceptable to the consignee, they will be required to make note of the damage on the delivery receipt at time of delivery prior to signing the delivery receipt. Under no circumstances shall the consignee discard the pallet or packaging material until the safe has been determined to be in good working condition and/or all claim issues have been resolved. When the delivery receipt is signed by the consignee without any notes of exception to the damage it clearly states that the freight has been received by the consignee in good condition. Failure to follow the procedures above will remove all liability of damage from Cobalt Safes and require the consignee to file any claims against the carrier themselves. For all parcel shipments, the customer must notify Cobalt Safes of any damages within 24 hours of receipt. Customer will also be required to provide Cobalt Safes with a brief description of the damage. If the customer declines to keep the damaged safe, it will be the customer’s responsibility to repackage and hold the safe until a claim can be submitted and UPS Parcel can retrieve the damage safe, this process can take approximately 10 - 14 business days.
RETURNS
Safes can be returned for a period of 14 days from the date of delivery. All returns must be approved by an authorized Cobalt Safes representative and returned with a required return authorization number. Safes must be returned in the original packaging and must be received in an approved Cobalt Safes warehouse undamaged and unused within 7 days of the issuance of the return authorization number. All freight charges are nonrefundable. All safe returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. In addition, if the returned safe is received by Cobalt Safes damaged it may be subject to additional fees. These fees will be determined by an authorized Cobalt Safes representative and will be prorate according to the extent of damage. Customers will be charged for freight to and from the point of delivery regardless if the buyer was eligible for free shipping. All freight charges will either be prepaid by the customer directly to the carriers or will be deducted from the safe refund. Credits will only be issued upon receipt and inspection of any/all returned safe(s).
Diamond Back Gun Safe Warranty
LIFETIME FIRE AND BURGLARY GUARANTEE
All Diamond Back Gun Safes are backed by a lifetime warranty against fire and burglary. Diamond Back Safes will replace any Diamond Back Gun Safe that has been burned in a fire, damaged during a break-in or an attempted break-in with the same or a comparable model to include all freight costs to the original address of purchase. Customers will be required to supply all requested documents to an authorized Diamond Back representative prior to replacement. LIMITEDWARRANTY
Diamond Back Safes warranties all parts and labor, excluding all digital components, on all Diamond Back Safes purchased for a period of one year from date of purchase against any manufacture defects. All digital components will only be warranted for a period of 90 days from date of purchase. Only digital components that are factory installed or installed by a Diamond Back technician prior to shipment will be covered under this 90 day warranty. Diamond Back Safes must be notified within a period of 7 days of the receipt of any safe damaged during shipping in order to uphold the warranty and/or damage claims. Warranties on damage claims will only be accepted if the customer has properly executed the outlined Damage and Delivery Policy and Procedures. Re-setting of any Group II combination dial must be performed by a qualified locksmith otherwise this warranty will become void.
LIFETIME FIRE AND BURGLARY GUARANTEE & ONE YEARWARRANTY INCLUSIONS
Diamond Back Safe reserves the right to make the final judgment on all warranty issues due to the many variables of circumstances that may arise during the damage of a safe to include the right to refund the original purchase price of the safe to resolve a conflict. At no time will Diamond Back Safes be liable for the cost of installation and/or removal of any Diamond Back Safe. This warranty does not cover any damage due to neglect, water damage, tampering, mishandling, abuse, improper installation, removal and/or reinstallation of safe. All warranty issues must be approved by a Diamond Back Safe representative before any warranty repairs can be completed. If a warranty repair is completed prior to obtaining an approval from Diamond Back Safes, Diamond Back Safes reserves the right to refuse payment to the service provider or reimbursement to the customer. At no time will this warranty cover more than the original purchase price of the safe. Diamond Back Safes is not responsible for any contents or valuables that may be stored in the safe at the time damage occurs. Contact an authorized Diamond Back Safe representative for further details at (888) 535-2545. All warranties are valid for the original customer of purchase and are non-transferable. This warranty is only valid on Diamond Back Gun Safe purchases made after July 1, 2008.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
An authorized Diamond Back Safe representative must approve all claims against Cobalt Safes.
Hayman Safes Terms and Conditions
Returned Goods Authorization
Hayman Safe Company may accept returned merchandise. A returned goods authorization number must be obtained, and must be affixed to the outside of each package. All returned goods must be shipped freight prepaid, and may be subject to a restocking fee. An additional charge may be applied for excessive damage as assessed on a per unit bases. An RGA form must accompany all products returned and must be filled out completely or shipment will be refused. Forms are available from customer service.
Freight Claims
Goods are inspected and shipped from Hayman Safe Company in undamaged and working condition. It is the receiver's responsibility to inspect all shipments before signing any documentation, and to report freight claims to the freight company. If there is apparent damage to the shipping carton, such damage must be noted on the receiving document. Occasionally there may be damage that is not apparent upon receipt of a shipment. Some freight carriers allow up to 90 days from receipt of shipment to accept claims of concealed damage, others do not. After the allowable time of concealed damage claims has passed, Hayman Safe company cannot assist with freight claims.
Lifetime Guarantee: Burglary Protection
Hayman Safe Company will, at our option, replace or repair any of our safes quipped with a slide bolt mechanism or better that are successfully burglarized. To claim this guarantee, call for authorization to ship (at your expense) the burglarized safe and a copy of the police report to us. We will repair or replace the safe and return it to you, freight collect.
3 Year Warranty
All Hayman Safe Company products carry a warranty to the original retail purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Standard models are warranted for three (3) years from the original date of purchase (excluding all electronic locks). Electronic locks carry the lock manufacturer's warranty which is normally one (1) year from the date the lock is manufactured. Standard safes will be warranted for (3) three years. Custom safes carry a one (1) year warranty. These warranties apply only to new safes purchased from Hayman Safe Company or our dealers. Proof of purchase must be provided so as to establish date of purchase and supplying dealer.
Hayman Safe Company will, at our option, repair or replace any defective part or unit. To obtain factory warranty service, the unit must be delivered to Hayman Safe Company or our authorized dealer, freight prepaid. Authorization must be received from Hayman Safe Company prior to performance of any warranty work.
Improper installation, improper use, lack of proper maintenance or accidental damage will nullify this warranty. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is offered. This warranty cannot be changed, modified, enlarged or altered without direct written consent from Hayman Safe Company. Hayman Safe Company is not responsible for consequential damage, incidental expenses or personal injury. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state.
Lifetime Guarantee: Polymer body safes
Hayman Safe Company will, at our option, replace or repair any of our polymer-body floor safes equipped with a slide bolt mechanism or better that are successfully burglarized. All polymer-body safes damaged by fire or seepage through the body will, at our option, by repaired or replaced. Improper installation can nullify this guarantee.

Protex Safe Co. Limited Warranty
Protex Safe Co. ("Protex Safe Co.") warrants to the original purchaser that the product(s) shall be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of manufacture by Protex Safe Co. (complete safes). This warranty applies provided there is compliance with all installation/operating instructions supplied by Protex Safe Co. and, provided further, that the product has been subject to normal use without any misuse, negligence, modification, or the occurrence of accidental damage.
PROTEX SAFE CO. MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THE
PRODUCT, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY AS TO SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE OR THE MERCHANTABILITY THEREOF AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE SUSTAINED THROUGH BURGLARY, THEFT, ROBBERY, FIRE OR OTHER HAZARD. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY LAW AND/OR CUSTOM.
In the event of a defect in materials or workmanship covered by this warranty, the
purchaser shall return, at purchaser's expense, the product to Protex Safe Co. for repair or replacement. Repair or replacement shall be at the election of Protex Safe Co. The purchaser's sole remedy shall be the repair or replacement of the product and under no circumstances shall Protex Safe Co. be liable to the purchaser or any other person for any consequential, incidental, economic, direct, indirect, general or special damages arising out of any breach of warranty. In no event shall Protex Safe Co.'s liability exceed the original cost of the product. This warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No dealer, distributor, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification or addition to this warranty.
PROTEX SAFE CO. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OF NONINFRINGEMENT PROVIDED UNDER KRS 355.2.312, UCC §2-312, OR SIMILAR LAW. PROTEX SAFE CO. SHALL NOT INDEMNIFY NOR BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF A CLAIM THAT THIS PRODUCT INFRINGES ANY
PATENT.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
