 Q: What is laminate flooring?
  A: Laminates are constructed using three principal layers: the decorative layer, the core, and the backing layer. These layers are compressed together using a high-pressure process. The higher the pressure used, the more durable the laminate will be-and it will have a higher AC rating.
 Q: In what rooms I can install laminate flooring?
  A: Generally laminate flooring can be installed in any room inside the house. Special precautions should be used when installing in some areas as bathrooms. Check wet area installation rules.
 Q: Can we install laminate over carpet?
  A: No, all carpet and carpet padding should be removed completely prior to installation.
 Q: Can I install laminate flooring myself?
  A: If you have the proper tools and instructions, it can be installed by anyone with reasonable "handyman skills". We suggest you to try to install in a small area, like a closet, and get as much inforation as possible before tackling a larger installation. Every floors comes with handy installation instruction.
 Q: Do I need underlayment?
  A: Yes, the main reason is foatation of the laminate on your subfloor; second reason - to reduce impact noise and absorb sound. Also if you have cement subfloor you should install underlayment with vapor barrier.
 Q: How to clean laminate flooring?
  A: Routine -Vacuum, broom, use a dust mop or wipe with damp cloth. Don not use soap-based detergents. Do not wax or polish your floor. Tough spots can be removed with nail polish remover containing acetone. Use mats to collect dirt and floor protectors for your furniture
 Q: Do I need other materials to install lamainate flooring?
  A: Yes, you need underlayment, unless you purchased floor with attached regular underlayment; moldings like WALL BASE or QUARTER ROUND (you may use your old moldings and reinstal them after floor is ready) ; some TRANSITION MOLDINGS for exemple if you are going to connect laminate to carpet or tile or stairs. We have all matching supplies in stock.
 Q: Can I install my laminate floor on a radiant heat floor?
  A: Yes, turn the heating down to 60deg F one week before laying the floor. Do not turn off the heating if the outside temperature is below freezing. Install a vapor barrier at least 0.006inch/ 0.15mm thick. Install the polyethylene foam underlay. Lay the flooring. Keep the temperature below 80deg F at all the times.
 Q: When I can start to work with my floor?
  A: Humidity and temperature can and will affect any wood product including the wood core of laminate flooring. Generall is recommended that laminate flooring be acclimated to the enviroment where it will be installed 48 hours before installation. The temperature in the room should be minimum of 65deg of F. Lie the packages flat on the floor.
 Q: When will my order be shipped?
