BizPlanDB was foudned in 2007 by a New York City based entreprenuer who realized that the business plan software on the market does not provide good templates for business plans. In response to this realization, he founded BizPlanDB  to provide entrepreneurs with a method of easily developing their own business plans with the guide of a template.

BizPlanDB is part of a larger business plan consulting firm, which has helped raise more than $100,000,000 for startups and small/medium sized businesses.
