Store Policy
Shipping
At this time we ship to the United States only (including Alaska and Hawaii). Shipping charges are flat rate with an additional fee per each extra item. We ship via the US Postal Service. At this time we do not combine shipping for multiple orders. We do our best to ship your order within 2 business days after receiving the order.
- USPS MediaMail may take up to 21 business days to arrive.
Minimum Orders
We do not have a minimum order amount.
Payment
Orders must be paid for prior to shipping. We only accept PayPal on our Ebay Store. We do not accept cheques, money orders or telephone payments.
Receipts
We include a hard copy receipt with each order. If you provide us your email we will also send you a copy when the item ships.
Back Order
We only sell what we have in stock in our warehouse and do our best to manage accurate inventory. However, we sell through many different channels and occasionally a title may sell-out before we get your order. In the event that your title is sold out, we will notify you that it has become unavailable, and refund you via your method of payment.
Holds
We sell our product on a first-come, first-serve basis and therefore do not "hold" books on promise of payment. Orders must be paid in full prior to shipping. We do not hold items and combine shipping charges if multiple items are purchased.
Cancelling an Order
Once you have purchased an item, if for any reason you do not complete the payment procedure within 24 hours, the item will be re-listed and you will forfeit the purchase. Negative feedback will also be left for NPB. Please contact us via e-mail if you're having difficulty paying for your items. After the item has been purchased, it cannot be cancelled. Please see 'Returning Product' for more details.
Returning Product
If you're not happy with your purchase, e-mail our Customer Service Department (service@bookcloseouts.com) to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN) before returning any items. Please include your reason for returning the item. Place the RAN on the inside and outside of the return package. Send the product back to us. Once the item has been received at our warehouse, we will refund you the method of payment used. Most returns will not be eligible for shipping and handling reimbursements.
Price Matching
Items sold on eBay will not be priced matched to those sold on our other channels. Coupons, promotions and other discounts are not applicable to eBay.com purchases.

Feedback
Feedback is left for bidders after payment is received. If you have questions or concerns regarding your feedback please contact us via e-mail. We will make every effort to resolve disputes prior to leaving negative feedback. Non-paying bidders may be blocked from participating in future auctions.
Product
Bargain Books are new, unread books that the publisher sells-off in volume to reduce excess inventory. Sometimes the publisher printed too many copies, in other cases bookstores purchased too many copies and have returned them to the publisher for credit. The books therefore have been handled a few times but are still in excellent condition.
In either case, the publisher may place a mark on the edge of the book to identify it as a Bargain Book. This ensures the book will never get returned to the publisher for credit. In most cases the mark is a small line or dot, however sometimes it is large. Product with excessive marking is not sold through our eBay Store.
Since the publisher marks each book by hand and often not in the same location, we are unable to provide information on specific markings on each title.
