Originally a town for the workers that built Hoover Dam, Boulder City is now a green and friendly desert oasis overlooking scenic Lake Mead, with a population of approx 15,000 people.

The City of Boulder City now maintains ongoing eBay auctions of various items. The monies generated from these auctions are used in the provision of improved City services for all residents of Boulder City and directly benefit many people, especially lower-income residents and those on fixed-incomes.
