Returns may be requested for an item(s) within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Refunds will be applied once the item has been received and inspected by our warehouse. For your convenience, we offer prepaid shipping labels on all returns. For general returns, the cost of the prepaid label will be deducted from your refund. For defective returns, you will receive a full refund. If you do not wish to use our prepaid label, you may use any other traceable shipping method, we would then ask that you please provide us your return tracking information. We do not charge restocking fees for in-policy returns.
Once you've submitted a return request, you'll receive an email with an approved RGA number or a denial within 48 hours. Reasons or additional instructions will be provided with any denials. Please do not return your item without this RGA, doing so may delay your refund.
Qualifications for a general return:
- Must be in resalable condition
- Must be free from scratches, missing parts, and/or defects
- Must not have been installed
- Must be in the original manufacturers box and packaging
- May not have any writing on the manufacturer packaging
- Must not be a clearance/liquidation/closeout item
Qualifications for a defective return:
- Return requested within 30 days of delivery
- Has a defect that hinders its usability for the purpose in which it was designed and manufactured
Items that have had gasoline in them are NOT returnable due to shipping restrictions of hazardous materials. Items that are special ordered may not be returnable. If an item is defective or damaged, we will issue credit in full or provide replacement parts. Build.com is not responsible for any labor costs related to handling, installing, or uninstalling items purchased. Clearance/Liquidation/Closeout items and all appliances may only be returned if found to be defective, or damaged upon delivery.

Order Cancellation RequestsTo request cancellation on an order, please reach out to our customer service team at (800) 375-5107 or by requesting cancellation in eBays portal. We will do our best to cancel an order upon the customers request. However, we pride ourselves on shipping quickly, which means that orders cannot always be cancelled. Should an order ship in this situation, it then becomes a return and must follow our return policy (detailed above).
We will do our best to process the return quickly.
Please allow 14-21 days for processing. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing PayPal account.
