This example shows how one scene can be cut into three sections. Even though the picture is in three sections, they can be put in the same frame with three cut-outs.

This example shows how you can take three photos of a similar subject and hang them next to each other. You can use three portrait photos in a vertical line, or three landscape in a vertical line. Or you can put the three portrait photos in a vertical line for a panoramic look.
The photographs can be grouped in color or black and white versions. Or you can mix and match.
The examples to the left are using three 8 x 10 photographs matted to 11 x 14. |

In this example, you can use four similar pictures. Two can be landscape photographs (diagonal from each other). The other two pictures (in portrait) are placed diagonal from each other to balance it out.

Various sizes can be matched together as well.
As you see in the image on the right, different sizes can be aligned. This example uses one portrait 11 x 14 print (matted to 16 x 20) with two smaller prints. The upper right print is a landscape 5 x 7 print (matted to 8 x 10) and the bottom right print is a portrait 8 x 10 print (matted to 11 x 14). |

This idea is similar to the one above, however, using a landscape 8 x 10 print in the lower right, allows you to use two portrait 5 x 7 prints (matted to 8 x 10) on the upper portion. |
