Return Guidelines
You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by CDROMUSA within 30 days of delivery for a refund. All refund and replacement requests must be made and authorized by CDROMUSA within 30 days of the package delivery date for United States orders, and within 45 days of shipment for international orders. Missing item(s) and damage claims must be made within 3 days of delivery.
Extended Holiday Returns:
Items purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2009, may be returned until January 31, 2010, subject to our other return guidelines.
All return requests must be pre-authorized by CDROMUSA. Any returns received without authorization will not be eligible for a refund. Unauthorized returns will either be refused, or held until the sender makes arrangements for reshipping fees. Items must be returned in their original packaging. All shipping and handling costs are non-refundable, except in the event that the return is a result of our error. In those cases, we'll also pay the ground-rate return shipping costs. ALL RETURNS REQUEST MUST BE MADE IN WRITING, AND ALL RETURNS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH A RETURNS MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RMA NUMBER).
Items that are Non Returnable
CDROMUSA does not accept returns of the following items:
Any product missing the serial numberor UPC
Any product with missing parts
Any video game without a security seal (if originally present)
Any products that are broken or obviously damaged by the customer
Any health & beauty items that are opened or used
Any products with a missing or used key number
Any items that meet one or more of the above criteria are ineligible for a refund or replacement.
Partial Refunds
Partial Refunds will be issued for the following:
Any item that is postmarked more than 7 days after return authorization
Any item that has obvious signs of use
Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap. (If you discover that the item is defective after the package is opened, a full refund or replacement will still be granted.)
Any item not returned in the condition it was received
How Refunds Are Calculated
The amount of your refund depends on several factors.
If you used a pre-paid label sent by Customer Service, the cost of return shipping is deducted from your refund unless the return is the result of our error or if the item is defective.
Items that meet our returns guidelines will receive a refund of the item price less any shipping-related fees and up to a 20 percent restocking fee.
Items returned by the shipping carrier for delivery problems will be refunded the purchase price, less any shipping-related fees, return shipping fees, and a 20 percent restocking fee.
Defective Items
Items believed to be defective can be returned within the return period. Any information required by CDROMUSA must be provided within the 30 day period. As with all returns, the return must be accompanied with a CDROMUSA issued RMA number displayed clearly on the return packaging to be accepted and/or eligible for a refund/exchange.
ALL defective items must be accompanied with WRITTEN verification from the publisher's technical support team that the item is defective and all reasonable measures to correct the issue(s) have been undertaken.
Alternatively, you may request to have the item tested by our testers once we receive your return. In these cases, written verification from the publisher is not required. Your return will be tested for the issue specified in your RMA number request. All defective items are eligible for a full refund, including shipping. Any non-defective items are eligible for a reshipment, contingent upon receiving the appropriate reshipping fee.
