Shipping and Handling

Hello, and welcome to the most boring page you'll ever read!  Contained here are my S&H fees and policies, along with other information that is equally boring but needs to be addressed somewhere. Please note that I have not changed the amount I charge for S&H for most items (Heroclix & comic books, for example) since I began selling on eBay in 2005, even though the US Post Office has regularly increased their shipping charges during that time.

I generally mail-out orders one to four days a week, but it changes week-to-week depending on volume.  I do my best to ship as soon as I can.  The bare-minimum that I ship orders is once a week for most of the year (January through the beginning of September), but during "The Holiday Season" (defined by me as starting in September and running through to the beginning of January) I do ship orders four days a week on a regular basis.

If you pay through PayPal, your order will ship the next time I process orders (within three business days).  The only exception is if you pay by echeck, then your order is held until payment clears. 

I do not ship outside of the United States of America and its territories (which includes Puerto Rico, APO addresses, etc). 

Shipping and Handling: Services

I ship USPS (the United States Post Office) because I prefer their quality of service and their prices.  It's nice to ship something First Class Mail to Hawaii and not have it cost more than shipping something to California.  (Non-Continental United States Residents please note:  All orders sent "Standard Mail" will be shipped Parcel Post if the package weighs more than 13 ounces {that's USPS' policy, not mine}, which means your order may take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive, sometimes longer.  Please keep that in mind when choosing or requesting your shipping options.)

First Class Mail is the usual Standard Flat Rate Shipping option for comic books, cards, Heroclix, Mage Knight figures and other light items.  Once an order passes the 13 ounce mark, Standard Shipping becomes Parcel Post.  Items such as Stikfas (when ordering more than one) and action figures are generally sent Parcel Post.

Priority Mail is listed for almost all items. First Class Mail has roughly the same shipping time as Priority, but without the 2-3 Day guarantee from the Post Office or the higher price. 

Requests for alternative Shipping Methods, such as Express Mail, are accepted, and I will quote you a S&H cost before you order if you wish.  I will always include First Class/Parcel Post and Priority Mail fees on the invoice in addition to whatever service you prefer, should you happen to change your mind in order to save money.

Delivery Confirmation / Tracking Numbers:  I ship using eBay/PayPal's shipping system, which gives a tracking number for every label I print. This tracking number is viewable on eBay whenever you go to your "Purchase History" page. PayPal also sends you an email that includes the tracking number, which you can use on the USPS website to see the shipping progress of your order.

Shipping and Handling: Paying for Multiple Items

Ask for an invoice. I will send you an invoice with the correct S&H amount as soon as I can. Please keep in mind that I am not online 24 hours a day, but I do usually send invoices out to buyers within 24 hours whenever they have purchased multiple items.

Shipping and Handling: Fees

Heroclix, HorrorClix and Mage Knight Figures: First Class Mail/Parcel Post for Heroclix and Mage Knight starts at $3.00 for the first figure, with no added fees for additional figures.  Priority Mail is $6.00, regardless of the number of figures you order.

Heroclix Cards (Bystander Tokens, etc): First Class Mail for Heroclix Cards (which includes Bystander and Object Tokens, etc) starts at $2.00 per order, regardless of the number of cards you order. Priority Mail is $6.00.

Stikfas:  "Standard Shipping Rates" for Stikfas start $4.00 for Deluxe, Regular, Lite and Blister Packs, $6.00 for the Mega Packs (Dune Buggy and Assault Team).  For each additional kit, add $1.50 for each additional Mega Pack, $1.00 for each additional Regular, Deluxe and Lite Pack, and just 75 cents for each additional Blister Pack.  Most of the time, "Standard Shipping" for Stikfas is Parcel Post, especially when the order is for several kits.  Blister, Lite and Regular Packs, if ordered on their own and the package is light enough, are sometimes sent First Class Mail.

Priority Mail for Stikfas starts at $6.00 for the Deluxe, Regular, Lite and Blister Packs, $7.25 for the Mega Packs (Dune Buggy and Assault Team).  For each additional kit, add $0.75.

Magic the Gathering Cards:  First Class Mail for Magic the Gathering Cards starts at $2.00 per order regardless of the number of cards you buy  Priority Mail is $6.00 per order.

Comics:  First Class Mail/Parcel Post (for orders over 13 ounces) for Comics is $3.00 for the first comic and 25 cents for each additional comic.  Priority Mail is available for $6.00 plus 25 cents for each additional comic.

Action Figures:  Since there are so many different types of figures that come in various sizes and weights, there is no flat charge for all figures.  If you order more than one figure, feel free to reqest an invoice so I can give you a more accurate S&H cost. 

Refunds:  Refunds are given for items still sealed in their original packaging, such as Stikfas and some Action figures.  All other items are sold "As Is" and are not eligible for a Refund unless I grossly mistated the condition of the item in the listing.

The refunded amount is equal to the price of the item, but not the original S&H fees.  Packages damaged during shipping that were not opened upon receipt may be returned for a refund after contacting me.

I do not own the Post Office.   I am not responsible for Lost or Stolen packages, mail delivered to the wrong address, or delays in delivery once the Post Office has your order.
