		Caledonia Fine Fabrics is a living legend in Boise, Idaho. The store has just celebrated 60 years in the business and is still going strong! What the secret to this fascinating store?

It's a family run business for 3 generations, the current owner Dorothy Simpson is an 82 year young wonder. She is the grand dame of Caledonia fabrics a multi-faceted business that began in a Boston basement in 1947.Dorothy comes into work everyday dressed beautifully and gives the store it's never ending amount of charm and incredible customer service, whether it's advice on fabric or what's in style Dorothy is the go to gal. Dorothy has been featured in many local and national articles even GLAMOR MAGIZINE in 1952 for being a fabric entrepreneur in New York. The added years of experience from the staff is astounding.

		With the help of her daughter Diana Howard-Turner, Caledonia Fabrics is the hot spot in the North West for rare and beautiful fabric of undeniable good quality. Diana keeps everyone smiling through out the day with her bright and loving disposition; many a customer leaves with their treasures in hand with a smile that stays with them long after their gone. The store is well known for its quality fabric and good prices, Dorothy quotes "The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten". Caledonia Fine Fabrics is so much more than just a fabric store now! We offer sewing classes from intermediate to the experienced sewer. Fun kids classes and great serger classes.
