We also reserve the right to cancel auctions with bidding if EBay has system errors in the last hour of the auction. Usually we will relist and start the auction over. If we don't receive payment within 7 days of your winning the auction, we reserve the right to relist the item. OR, if buyer does not respond to emails about payment requests, we will relist, or sell to next bidder 5 days after the auction ends.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Combined Shipping: We do combine shipping for all items bought within several days – so save on shipping costs and pick up another item! Before paying, please wait for a combined shipping invoice from us to take advantage of this benefit.
Domestic (U.S.A.) Shipping:
We ship via USPS Priority Mail and Express Mail to confirmed addresses (if using Paypal). Email tracking information is available and will be sent to your Paypal or eBay email address when the package is shipped.
You must pay for insurance (which is optional) and NOT included in shipping and handling fees or for auctions offering “free shipping” unless we require it on the individual auction. If you decline insurance and the item arrives broken/damaged or not at all, we will not be responsible. Free Shipping auctions use priority mail only in the USA.
We usually ship ever business day unless we are on vacation. Domestic priority delivery times are typically 3-7 days after you are notified of the shipping date. If you need it fast, choose the Express Mail option.
We combine shipping costs, so buy more than one item and save on shipping for multiple items!
International Shipping:
Since many of our items are fragile and high value and are paid via Paypal, we only ship internationally via Priority Mail or Express Mail which gives you on-line tracking and insurance options. We declare that the contents are "Vacuum Tubes" (if applicable) on the customs slip at full auction value. Auction shipping quotes do not include international insurance which is optional. Buyers will pay custom’s fees on the declared value or insured amount.
You can determine the international shipping to your country by using the shipping calculator at the bottom of the auction. Choose your country and click the “UPDATE” box for rates to your country.
We specialize in International sales, but due to customs and other circumstance out of our control, we are not responsible for items not delivered or if the shipment is damaged or lost and was NOT INSURED! Insured items can be recovered through the USPS. We will assist buyers with their insurance claims, but do not offer any reimbursement from us. Most delays are due to customs holding in YOUR COUNTRY, so check your tracking and with Customs and also your neighbors if they accepted a package for you. Feel free to email us inquiring when your item was shipped and the US Customs Form Number, but please understand that shipping times vary and WE are not holding your item, we want you to enjoy it! Filing a complaint or dispute with Ebay or PayPal after your item is shipped, but not yet received, doesn’t get your item there any faster, it just puts you on Captain Bob’s bad list.

EMAIL COMMUNICATION: Please use EBAY's mail message forwarding system ONLY as we cannot reply to email sent to our Paypal address. We use the EBAY email system to contact you and it works very well for us. Ask questions before bidding about anything concerning the auction and shipping to your location. Communication between buyer and seller makes for a smooth transaction for both of us!
RETURN POLICY & WARRANTIES: Captain Bob’s Electronic Emporium warrants against “DOA” (“dead-on-arrival”) or differences between an item description (exclusive of illustrative pictures) and the items received. Any DOA or defective item should be returned (e.g. in transit back to us with a copy of the invoice) within 3 days of your receipt of the item and notification to us using Ebay messaging for our record. Please include a brief description of the problem and use your eBay ID in all correspondence.
Occasionally we ship a tube in a box with a different label and we will gladly replace the wrong shipment with the proper item at our cost. We test all tubes prior to shipment and warrant that they test as “new” or better on our calibrated tube tester. Due to differences in vintage tube gear we can not guarantee that the tubes will test as well in your tube tester or will meet the specifications of your particular equipment or are fit for a particular application.
If you need to return your purchase and request a refund, we do not refund shipping and insurance charges that were incurred to ship the product to you or return the product to us. If your purchase has a refund option (check the auction), we will issue a refund only after the products are returned and have been verified to be the same ones sent and also test new or better on our tube tester. Purchase refunds will be in the same form as purchase payments.
FEEDBACK POLICY: We want satisfied customers and try to give good feedback to all buyers who pay on time and who have given us positive feedback. Our Feedback to you is usually provided when the transaction has been COMPLETED. (We have received payment, you have received the merchandise, are satisfied with the transaction and have given us feedback.)
