SAVE THE PLANET – RECYCLE YOUR TUBES!

Captain Bob and First Mate Suzy-Q need your help to save the planet and we will pay you for your efforts by paying for your old tubes after you buy a new replacement set from us.  We cringe just thinking about our great customers throwing away their old tubes which end up in the local dump.  Many times the old tubes have hours of good life and great tunes left in them for people to enjoy.  So we set up a tube recycling program where you get a credit for your good tubes, we test and recycle them to new customers at great prices, and the planet has a few less pieces of glass and metal buried for hundreds of years!  Right on!

Here’s how the program works.

1. You buy a new replacement set from Captain Bob’s (at great prices I may add!)

2. We send the tubes to you with a form to fill out listing all the tubes you are sending back and the price we will pay for them if they test good on our tube testers.

3. We test the tubes, email you the credit info and credit your Paypal account or give you a store credit against future purchases (your choice).

4. The whole process takes us about 10 days after we receive the tubes from you.

5. Even if all your tubes are bad – feel good that we crunch them so they have very little effect on the environment and you have done a good deed for mankind and the environment!  Now doesn’t that make you feel better?

RECYCLE TERMS

CUSTOMERS ONLY:  We limit this program to customers of Captain Bob’s Electronic Emporium only. We are not soliciting for tube purchases from non-customers.  We do this as a service to our current customers and to help save the planet. 

SHIPPING COSTS: When you ship the tubes back to us for testing and possible credit, the shipping cost is paid by you.  We will include a form in your original tube purchase shipment which you will fill out and return with the tubes so we know who you are and how to contact you and give you the credit.

TESTING AND CREDIT: All testing is done by us to our standards and if we feel the tubes can be recycled we will issue you a credit via Paypal.  When you send the tubes back for recycling you may not get a credit if we don’t think they can be recycled.  We try to be honest with all our customers and give the best credit we can because we want you to come back and buy from our store.  We also don’t ship tubes back.  Once you sent them to us, we will either give you a credit or have them prepared for a minimal effect on the landfill environment
