General Information about International Shipping to Australia & New Zealand
We currently can ship orders to all mainland Australian states & territories and New Zealand, utilizing the 2 USPS International shipping methods, outlined below. Our business days are Monday-Friday and do not include Saturdays, Sundays or standard US holidays. *Please note that we cannot be responsible for packages delayed by customs. If you feel your item has been delayed or is taking longer than it should...contact your local Australian or New Zealand Customs Office. Delivery times are generally very accurate but are not guaranteed.
Delivery Options
All orders shipping to Au & Nz will ship via USPS either Priority Mail or First Class Mail. Packages are usually delivered within the time frames specified below. We cannot be responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance. Delivery times are NOT guaranteed. All International orders must be handled by our California warehouse, therefore we have an added handling fee in the shipping charges. Furthermore, International orders shipping USPS First Class Mail will not have location-to-location tracking information as USPS Priority Mail will have. THESE VALUES OVERRIDE ANY DELIVERY DATE OPTIONS EBAY MAY DISPLAY IN THEIR SHIPPING SELECTION BOX. PLEASE ONLY REFERENCE THESE VALUES WHEN SELECTING YOUR SHIPPING METHOD.
*USPS Express Mail option only available upon request and will be twice the amount of the USPS Priority Mail shipping amount
Shipping Charges
To view the shipping charges on any item simply click on the Shipping & Payments tab in the listing itself, and select either Australia or New Zealand from the pull-down menu. We will combine shipping once you individually checkout (without actually paying) for each item.
Duties and Taxes
All pricing in our eBay Store is in US dollars and DOES NOT include Duty or Taxes in the price of the goods. Most items we sell are subject to some import duty tariffs. However, duty will only be due on your order if your total is more than the amounts listed above in the previous Duties and Taxes section. This means you will be charged for VAT and / or possibly Duty in order to take possession of your package.
For Australia, orders totaling less than $1,000.00 AUD do not require any GST or duty to be paid. Orders over $1000.00 AUD will have both GST and duty charges of up to 28% payable to Australian customs upon delivery of your order to Australia in order to take possession of your merchandise.
For New Zealand, orders totaling less than $50 NZD (about $35 USD depending on the current exchange rates) will not have any duty due. Orders over $50 NZD (about $35 USD) will have GST of 15% and duty charges of as much as 12%, (most party supplies will not have any duty due but most costumes do have a duty rate of 12%) for a total of 27% due and payable to New Zealand customs in order to take possession of your merchandise.
Taxes
For Australia: GST is not due on any orders shipped to Australian customers as long as the product value is less than $1000.00 NZD.
For New Zealand: GST is not due on New Zealand orders as long as the order total is less than $50 NZD.
