Did you know that vintage sewing kits are highly collectible? I didn't know that until I found out that some kits made by Dimensions were fetching over $200 here on eBay. Dimensions are high priced kits when they first come out so it should not have amazed me in the first place. The age of the kit does not determine the high price or the demand. What determines the demand is if the kit had a limited run or they were designed by someone famous. Christmas sewing kits have the highest demand and not just near the holidays. Cross stitch and needlepoint bring the highest prices.
I usually have a nice selection of vintage sewing parts and sewing kits. Every once and awhile I have some fat quarters or precut quilting squares. Take a look and you might just find what you are looking for. Happy shopping.
