New

New items are guaranteed to arrive to you exactly as they arrived to us from our supply chain. On rare occasion, CenterstageLIGHTING may be required to spot check items for quality control purposes. Any time a spot check is performed, it is done in a testing area of our facility. When the unit is placed back inside the box, we will include a spot check disclosure within the factory packaging. Although rare, spot check quality control is most often performed at the request of the manufacturer and in no way changes the warranty of any item classified as New.

B-Stock/C-Stock/Factory Refurbished

B-Stock, C-Stock & Factory Refurbished are all terms which describe the same item classification. We use these three terms to maintain compliance with all of our manufacturer's rules regarding the sale of these items. Throughout this disclosure we will use the term "B-Stock" to encompass all while helping to avoid confusion.

B-Stock items can be generated from a number of sources. The one common element with B-Stock merchandise is all items are purchased directly through the respective manufacturer. We do not generate B-Stock at our facility. A few conditions in which an item can be moved to this classification by the manufacturer are dealer returns, manufacturer trade show displays, dealer show room displays, manufacturer show room displays, production run manufacturing defects or a number of other sources. All items within this classification are tested by the manufacturer, purchased by CenterstageLIGHTING from the manufacturer and sold to our customers at a reduced price with a stated factory warranty period. The price is reduced because the units can no longer be classified as new. Some items may not include the original factory box, although most do. It is possible for these items to be missing manuals in which case we can refer you to the proper place to find a manual for download should you recieve a unit missing a manual. The manufacturer does not provide us with the reason items have been classified as B-Stock, nor do we have any way of finding out the reason. All B-Stock merchandise is guaranteed to arrive fully functional. In most cases, B-Stock items are cosmetically & mechanically indistinguishable from new products. On occasion some items may show a period of elapsed time on hour counting displays. Some manufacturers will put 2 - 10 hours on a unit during the manufacturing process, although some little to zero hours. Minor cosmetic flaws are a possibility and should be expected, however in most cases, B-Stock units are cosmetically flawless. In regards to lamps, we do not know if a new lamp has been installed into the unit before arriving to us nor do we know the unit even required a new lamp. It is not a common practice for a manufacturer to load a B-Stock unit with a new lamp unless the lamp was non-functional. CenterstageLIGHTING has been selling B-Stock items from various manufacturers for many years. We stand as strongly behind these products as we will stand behind a brand new item. B-Stock gear is an excellent opportunity to purchase merchandise at heavily discounted prices.

Used In Like-New Condition

Merchandise classified as Used In Like-New Condition can be generated from many different sources.  Examples are  customer returns, loaner units, one night rentals, one-off production events and various in-house marketing or presentations. Items within this classification always include original box, original paperwork & come with a warranty. Rental and production stock is rotated after one event.
