When we ship:
We use Ebay/Paypal's automatic shipment system so most orders are shipped the next business day after payment clears. Please remember that checks and E-checks may take 3-4 days to clear. For US domestic packages, when we generate shipment instructions (usually done the same day you pay for your order - as long as it is a business day), Paypal sends you the tracking information by e-mail. As orders are processed at the end of the day, when you receive your tracking information e-mail, your package is scheduled for mailing the next business morning.
Ship-To address:
We ship to the address provided with your payment. Even when you pay by check, your Ship-To address is automatically entered by Ebay/Paypal's shipment processing system. If, for some reason, your address is incorrect in the Ebay/Paypal system and you are unable to update it before paying, it is important that you please indicate this with the payment in the notes field. As Paypal occasionally fails to send us receipt of payment notification (and this is where we see your notes), it is a very good idea to send us another e-mail confirming the Ship-To address if it differs.
Shipping methods:
We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) for most domestic packages. If preferred, we can ship using the customer's FedEx or UPS account for orders over $100.
Shipping insurance:
Insurance is optional, but suggested so the customer can insure purchases against damage or loss. Even though we ship most items securely in bubble envelopes and have not had any problems with shipment damages or loss to date, we strongly urge you not to take chances with your package. On items that cost very little, it may not be reasonable to purchase the insurance. Regrettably, we can not be responsible for lost or damaged packages if you opt not to purchase the insurance.
Combined shipping information:
Our shipping prices, unlike some of our competitors, are not marked-up sky high. We try to price our items and shipping costs honestly. The shipping fee you pay helps cover our cost for boxes/bubble envelopes, shipping labels, forms, as well as shipment processing fees obligated to Paypal and the USPS. But - we can usually combine items for reduced shipping rates.
Note: International shipments must be personally taken to the post office and the fees listed above include a nominal charge to cover this and costs associated with completing custom's forms. Foreign governments may assess a taxes on imports of items over a certain value. This is unfortunately, completely out of our control. We ship using the USPS rather than UPS or FedEx thereby helping control what fees we can and avoiding any broker's fees.
