  • ITEM CONDITION
    CHEF RECO DEPOT sells both New and Used Equipment.

  • As-Is: Item has not been tested by our staff; no work has or will be done to the unit. These items carry no warranties or guarantees whatsoever.
  • Cleaned and Tested: Item is tested for functionality and lightly cleaned. Any items sold under this condition can be expected to be free of external dirt and grease, and in good working order.
  • Any equipment sold "As-Is" or simply "Used" is sold 'AS IS / WHERE IS' and 'WITH ALL FAULTS'. We do not guarantee any used equipment will be received in working condition.
  • Generally speaking, food-service establishments are notorious for grease. Some, but not all equipment is cleaned by use of pressure washing and/or other methods. CHEF RECO DEPOT does not fully disassemble equipment, and some residual grease and dirt may be present. Despite our best efforts, no guarantee is made that the equipment you receive will arrive in "clean as new" condition.
  • *SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT: As solder ages, it becomes brittle. Solder holds refrigeration lines together. When older refrigeration is shipped on a truck, it usually bounces quite a bit. The bouncing and vibrations can cause the brittle solder to crack and allow a refrigerant leak. Repairs of this problem are the sole responsibility of the consignee.

  • SHIPPING
    If you wish CHEF RECO DEPOT to arrange shipment, you must contact before the auction ends to get a quote.

  • CHEF RECO DEPOT will only arrange shipments within the contiguous United States. All items ship from CHEF RECO DEPOT'S commercial warehouse in Savannah, GA, USA. If you have any questions with the quote given, please contact us.
  • UPS Shipments: For tracking purposes, CHEF RECO DEPOT only uses UPS Ground for common shipping purposes. We can provide tracking information upon shipment of your order. We will only send items via UPS on CHEF RECO DEPOT'S account. We will not send items via UPS on another account.
  • Freight Shipments: CHEF RECO DEPOT uses an outside, third party for all freight shipping services. Our shipping quotes are for dock-to-dock shipment only and do not include unload or delivery services.
  • Customers are also welcome to arrange their own transport of most items. Our hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, EST. We are located in historic Downtown Savannah, GA. Please note that smaller orders capable of shipping with UPS must be shipped that way and are not available for pickup.
  • Customer Pickup: Customers are welcome to pick up their orders from our Savannah, GA location. Payment must clear before order can be picked up. CHEF RECO DEPOT staff is able to assist in loading. REMEMBER: Items must be picked up within 10 business days.
  • Customer Arranged Freight: Customers are welcome to coordinate their own freight shipment of their order. The item will be packaged accordingly. Buyer must provide CHEF RECO DEPOT with a dated Bill of Lading. Item will be shipped within 3 business days of receipt of Bill of Lading.

  • SHIPPING DISCLAIMERS

  • All items will incur a $2.00 handling cost. For larger items, additional fees may apply.
  • Insurance is available for an additional fee.
  • There may be additional charges for packaging.
  • All equipment is sold FOB from our dock. CHEF RECO DEPOT accepts no responsibility for the condition of the item once it has left our warehouse.
  • All freight shipments arranged by CHEF RECO DEPOT are for dock to dock service only.
  • Freight shipments will be delivered on a tractor trailer truck. These cannot be "dropped off" like a UPS shipment; someone must be available to unload. If lift gate service is required, then an additional fee will be added to the freight cost. This cost will be determined by the freight carrier. Buyer must provide a phone number so the shipper can schedule your delivery.
  • If picking up, securing the load is the sole responsibility of the buyer. CHEF RECO DEPOT assumes no liability or responsibility for damages that are a result of improper or inadequate securing.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect item for product shortage or damage immediately upon receipt. Buyer should open item at time of delivery and note any damage on the bill of lading prior to the driver leaving your facility.
  • If shipping damage occurs, it is the sole responsibility of the buyer to file a claim with the carrier. Please note that these claims often take up to 120 days to resolve.

  • PAYMENT/CHECKOUT

  • If you are the winning bidder, we expect you to follow through with your end of the transaction. All questions and concerns need to be discussed before placing a bid. This includes knowing shipping and handling fees as well as product specifics. Do not hesitate to reach us by eBay's "Ask Seller a Question" or via phone: 800-673-9392.
  • CHEF RECO DEPOT'S preferred method of payment is PayPal.
  • We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, checks, or money orders as payment.
  • By law, CHEF RECO DEPOT must collect 7% Georgia sales tax for Georgia Residents, or for any orders being picked up. To have sales tax waived, buyer must present a valid "Re-Sale Certificate" or other official Tax-Free documentation. Chef Reco Depot cannot refund Sales Tax once it has been collected.
  • We request payment be received within 5 business days from the close of auction.
  • If the item is not paid for in 2 business days, a second notice is automatically emailed. After 6 business days, we send a final notice reminding the customer that we have not received payment. After 7 business days, the item will automatically be cancelled, re-listed and a request will sent to eBay for reimbursement of listing fees incurred.
  • Typically our orders ship in 1-3 business days once payment has cleared. We do not guarantee shipping times.

  • AUCTION TERMS

  • All sales are final. There are no returns, refunds or cancellations.
  • We value our customers' concerns and will promptly pursue any issues to mutual satisfaction.
  • It is assumed that all items are sold "As Is" unless otherwise stated in the auction.
  • CHEF RECO DEPOT attempts to represent all items as accurately as possible; however we make no guarantees that the information is accurate or complete.
  • Any questions regarding item specifics, shipping costs or payment must be asked BEFORE the close of the auction. CHEF RECO DEPOT is not responsible for misinterpretation of our description.
  • We are not a public warehouse. CHEF RECO DEPOT requires that all items be picked up within 10 business days. Any items not picked up in that time are subject to resale without refund.
  • If a shipment is refused without prior agreement, the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping both ways, as well as a 25% restocking fee. No exceptions will be made.
  • If a buyer believes there is a misrepresentation regarding the item or its condition, the buyer must relay to the seller why they believe there to be a misrepresentation. CHEF RECO DEPOT will review the facts and make a decision regarding the alleged misrepresentation. If CHEF RECO DEPOT agrees there is a misrepresentation, a refund of the auction-close price will be issued upon return to our facility; freight will be paid by the buyer. CHEF RECO DEPOT does not refund packing or shipping charges.
  • Any concerns must be submitted to CHEF RECO DEPOT in writing within 15 days of receipt of the item, or 45 days from the end of the auction, whichever comes first.
