Payment Options
Payment must be received within 10 days of the close of the auction, unless arranged otherwise in advance. Nonpayment within 10 days will result in automatic filing of an Unpaid Item Dispute with eBay. We prefer PayPal, but we also accept checks or money orders drawn on a US bank in US funds. Please no foreign checks or money orders even if in US funds. We will need to wait for checks to clear before shipping. PayPal e-checks take 5 to 10 days to clear. If you are paying via PayPal for over $100 with an unconfirmed address, you must clear this in advance. We reserve the right to refuse any PayPal payment over $100 from unconfirmed addresses.
Shipping & Handling
We are happy to ship most items worldwide except for those items prohibited by law and those designated as pick up or domestic only. If shipping rates are not posted in the listing, please email us before bidding to get a quote. Please note that large items can be quite costly to ship internationally and once you bid you are obligated to go through with the sale if you win.
Buyer pays shipping and handling unless otherwise indicated. Generally we only charge a very small fee for handling and materials. We are also happy to combine orders to reduce overall shipping rates. Please email us before paying so we can send a corrected invoice. If your shipping rate looks high, please email us so we can check. There have been problems with the eBay shipping calculators in the past.
Buyer Pick-Up: Most items are available for pick up at offices in New York City. Payment must prepaid or cleared at the time of pick-up. We are happy to hold items for up to 30 days, providing that payment is made within 10 days. Items not picked up within 30 days will be charged a storage fee of no less than $10 per day.
Sales Tax: All items, other than clothing, are subject to New York sales tax of 8 3/8%, unless you provide a valid New York State Tax Exempt or Resale Certificate.
International Shipping:Tracking is generally only available with Express Mail or Courier Services. USPS Priority Mail provides a tracking number showing the item was shipped, but it is not trackable. Items shipped internationally may be subject to local duties and/or taxes. These are the responsibility of the buyer. Please be aware of these taxes before you bid.
Tracking: The USPS currently provides tracking for Express Mail and Global Express Mail services only.
Insurance: Optional on most items. We cannot be responsible for uninsured items lost or damaged in the mail.
