1940's 50's Vintage hawaiian dress Rayon Malihini Asian

Original 40's / early 50's Vintage Hawaiian dress, holomuu muumuu made by Malihini. Print is red & green with hunter sword, bird and mountains. Ruffles on the yoke and also ruffled on the hemline. Dress is small and has a few brown spots, about 3" of stress wear along the bust seams and a 3" section along the seam at the bottom that needs to be restitched & I have marked it down due to that. For comparision, my mannequin is 35-25-36. It is in GOOD condition, and appears to be a SMALL. material is silky rayon

50s Vintage Hawaiian dress Kamehameha cheongsam tea-timer

Circa 50's playsuit / bathing suit by Alfred Shaheen Honolulu - Fashion Craftsman of Quality with the bullet bra detailing! Metallics on cotton in Joss Sticks Japanese print. Has some wear on the metallics from washing though this may not be an issue if you are wearing this in the evening. The deep red is a wonderful color. The white cotton is very bright white with no degradation or color bleed which is rare in itself. There is 1 light brown spot about the size of a pencil eraser tip on the left lower pocket area. The smocking is very firm & semi tight and will go many more years. You can wear this as a halter or even strapless as it has a ruched pleated / shelf bust Bust: 36"-38" Waist: 28" Hips: 38"
