Sizes and Measurements

• Where do I find the size for the listing?
  • The VonLancelot size of each listing is displayed in the Size section of the eBay listing. You will find the Size section immediately under the pictures in the listing. The item is only offered in the size in the Size section. If you would like another size you must find that same item with the size that you need.
  • The graphic below is only an example to show you what the Size section looks like in each listing. You will find the correct Item size in the listing section and it will look as follows:

• Can I find the same item by searching for size?
  • Yes. All costumes can be found by clicking on the corresponding size in the menu bar. Simply find your VonLancelot size by using one of the Size Guides, then click on the corresponding size on the menu bar to see if you can find the item.
• Do you make each item in all size?
  • No. VonLancelot is a costume couture manufacture. VonLancelot designs its costumes in limited supply, which means that we keep our inventories very low and only make specific sizes of each garment.
• How do I determine my size?
  • Accurately measure your body (chest, waist, hips, etc.) in inches. After determining your body measurements use the Size Guide provided on all listings to find the corresponding VonLancelot costume size. Go here for Size Guide information if you can not find it on your listing.
  • Below is an example of what the VonLancelot Size Guide looks like. You can find a Size Guide on every VonLancelot listing if you scroll down the page.

• Are your sizes UK, European or USA sizes?
  • VonLancelot sizes are specifically VonLancelot’s sizes and may vary slightly from other sizes. You are strongly urged you to take your body measurements accurately and use the appropriate VonLancelot Size Guide provided on each listing and find the correct VonLancelot costume size. • How do I convert my size to inches?

• Do you have my size in stock?
  • VonLancelot keeps only a small inventory of his costume couture in stock. Normally if the item is not listed for auction or listed as buy it now, it means the costume is not in stock. If it is not in stock you will need to custom order it.
• Can I get the exact costume measurements?
  • No. VonLancelot does not provide the detailed measurements of our costumes. VonLancelot costumes are designed to fit specific body size according to the VonLancelot Size Guide provided on each listing.
• Are your sizes for women or for girls?
  • VonLancelot designs costumes for women, girls, men and boys. Each listing indicates the size and gender on the VonLancelot Size Guide located on the listing.
  • Please find your body measurements on the Size Guide and you can then find the corresponding VonLancelot size.

Custom Orders and Alterations

• Can I custom order a custom size?
  • Yes. VonLancelot makes all costumes in all sizes, but you will need to make a custom order. If you are interested in a custom costume size go to our eBay store and find the costume you would like and then email us the eBay ID along with the VonLancelot size that you need.
  • Alternatively we are updating our eBay store with a special Custom Costume Size section to make your custom costume ordering more convenient. You may order any of the costumes in these sections in any custom size.

• Can I order a different color or request a little alteration?
  • No. At this time VonLancelot costumes are not offered with alterations in fabrics, colors or styles, custom orders can only be requested in a different size.

Shipping and Combined Orders

• Do you combine orders?
  • Yes. Do not pay for your costumes until you complete your shopping. You have ten days to shop. When you have finished shopping then eBay will automatically combine your orders and provide you with the VonLancelot shipping discounts that you have qualified.
• How can I get Same Day shipping?
  •  Simple. Place your order before 12:00 noon PST and we will ship it that same day.
• Can you rush my order?
  • Yes. You can add our 1 Ship Day USPS Express Shipping service to your eBay checkout. This service must be added at the time of your costume purchase. This service is an addition flat rate and is added to the normal shipping charge shown on the listing.
• Can I change the shipping type after my order?
  • No. Once you have placed an order, your shipping address may not be changed. Please verify that your eBay shipping address is correct before you order.
• How do I get free shipping?
  • Easy. Customers in the USA will receive free USPS Priority Shipping on all combined orders of $150 or more. You have 10 days to combine purchases.
• Do International customers get free shipping?
  • No. Currently our free shipping discount only applies to customers located within the United States.

Photos, Colors, Petticoats and Period Correctness

• Will my costume be the same color as the photo?
  • Nearly. VonLancelot photos are all shot in our studio of the actual garment or outdoors. We use some of the best camera equipment on the market a Canon Digital SLR 400D. Computer monitors are all different and at times your monitor may not properly show the true color. However, according to our feedback page most all of our customer think we come pretty close.
• Are the photos touched up?
• No.
• What Petticoat do you use in your photos?
  • We normally design and shoot all photos using the Petticoat show here...  
• Is my costume period correct?
  • Not necessarily. VonLancelot has his own style and taste, which is not necessarily always period correct.

Invoices and Payments

• What form of payments do you accept?
  • We prefer PayPal. We also will accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
• Do you accept bank transfers, wires, or cashiers checks?
  • No.
• How much does shipping cost?
  • You can see the shipping charges for each costume on the eBay listing page. Shipping is clearly indicated and is based on the package weight. Charges will vary depending on the distance of your zip code from our Distribution Center. Shipping charges also vary for each costume due to changes in weight and bulk.
• Do you combine purchases?
  • We combine orders for up to 10 days. You may order as many costumes within our 10 day order period as you like. If you have not ordered bulk before we suggest that you first order one or two costumes so that you are familiar with the quality of a VonLancelot garment.
• Can I hold off my payment to shop?
  • Yes. Do not pay until you have completed shopping. If you are the winner of one item, you may continue to shop up to 10 days (starting from the first purchase day) and pay for everything together on concluding your shopping. At that time your order will be combined for shipping. Do not pay until you finish the shopping, otherwise, we cannot combine your orders.

Customs Fees

• Can you tell me the customs fee?
  • No. Custom fees are not our expertise and we are not able to give you any guidance. It is best to consult a Customs Agent in your country.
• Who pays the customs fees?
  • You do. Custom fees are charged on your end. We can not give you any advice about Customs Fees and strongly advise you to check with your local Customs Office if you have any questions about Customs Fees. 
  Will you send it as a gift if I request?
  • No. Sending eBay items as a gift is against eBay policy. Unless you pay for our Gift Wrapping service we will not declare your item as a gift. For sending packages as a gift please refer to our Gift Wrapping service for details. 

Buy It Now and Bidding

• Can I buy from Cloak Company without bidding?
  • No. Costumes sold on eBay are sold in accordance with eBay policy. We do not participate unauthorized selling schemes.
• Can you list an item for me as Buy It Now?
  • No. If the costume is not listed as Buy It Now then it is not available in that format. Our inventories are limited. We do not mass produce our costumes. Our costumes are normally auctioned to the highest bidder.

Trademark and Photo Usage 

• Can I use your pictures, logo or text?
  • No. VonLancelot methodically creates innovative and proprietary designs and aggressively pursues its rights under U.S. and International Copy Right, Design Registration, Trademark and other Intellectual Property Right laws. VonLancelot controls the use of its name, trademarks, logos, text descriptions and photographs. VonLancelot does not allow the use of any trademark, photo or text by third parties.
  • VonLancelot vigorously protects all Copy Rights and Trademarks and seeks all means in preventing, stopping and prevailing upon those who infringe upon its Intellectual Property Rights. These included but are not limited to, utilizing the eBay VeRO program, obtaining monetary damages (up to three times our damages when available by law), and legal costs.

Care and Maintenance

• How to clean a VonLancelot item?
  • Dry clean it.
• Can I fold my costume and hang it on a hanger?
  • Folding is best.
• Can I put it into the dryer
  • Yes. At low heat.

Returns and Exchanges

• Can I exchange after I win?
  • No. The costume you bid on is the item that we will ship to you. There are no size alterations, address changes or item exchanges after you have won. We will only send the item in the listing - no other.
• Can I return my order?
  • Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. Costumes may be returned at the customer’s expense within 3 days from the date of delivery. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include shipping and handling charges. Schedule a next day return pickup with your of your postal carrier.

• What does your gift wrap service include?
  • We will place your costume inside a beautiful black satin rhinestone studded bag with the VonLancelot logo handsomely displayed on the outside. enclosed our professionally designed labels, tags and emblems. The entire outfit will then be placed inside a special black box with the VL logo displayed prominently on the outside in gold leaf.
•   Can I send a message?
  • Of course! You can send a handwritten 100 word message personally written in VonLancelot's professional calligrapher handwriting.
• How much does it cost?
  • Our gift wrapping service including, satin rhinestone studded bag, elegant black gift box, designer labels, tags and personally handwritten calligraphy message in matching back embossed envelope costs only $19.00.
• Can I send to a different address?
  • Absolutely. When we receive your order we will rush you by eBay email a request for additional information including shipping address, message and salutations.
