SHIPPING    (New Postal Rates are effective May 11, 2009.   For the second year in a row, there will be no change in our fees for shipping.)    

U.S. ORDERS:    The charge for shipping one, two or three 45's is $3.00 for First Class mailing, or $4.65 for First Class/Insured mailing.  As many as six picture sleeves can be shipped at those same rates.  Media Mail will be quoted for four or more 45's, as well as for a larger group of picture sleeves.  A mixed order of 45's and picture sleeves can also be combined for one shipment, and rates will be quoted upon request.  These are the most cost-effective means of shipping, but changes can be made if requested.  Insurance is optional and can be omitted at the buyer's discretion, but we cannot be responsible for any parcel sent uninsured.

CANADA/MEXICO:    First-Class Mail International shipping (previously known as Letter-Post Airmail), which does not provide tracking or insurance coverage, will be quoted.  The charge for shipping the first 45 is $3.50.  The charge for each additional 45 is 50 cents.  As many as three picture sleeves can be shipped for $3.50.  The charge for each additional picture sleeve is 25 cents.  A mixed order of 45's and picture sleeves can also be combined for one shipment, and rates will be quoted upon request.  Although First-Class Mail International is the preferred and most cost-effective means of shipping by air, changes can be made when necessary.  There are options for Registered Mail and Insured Shipment that will be quoted upon request.    >> Please remember, there is no means of tracking a parcel sent outside the U.S. unless it is sent by Registered Mail. <<     Also, we cannot be responsible for any parcel sent uninsured.

Shipping charges will vary for other types of merchandise.

Orders are normally shipped within 48 hours, but obviously weekends and holidays are not part of that time period.  Unforseen circumstances may also enter in from time to time, but getting orders shipped quickly is standard policy.

REMINDER:    We cannot be responsible for any parcel sent uninsured.  It is very, very rare that a shipment is not successfully received by the buyer.  Uncommon as they may be, things like loss or theft are beyond control of the seller.

PACKAGING

All items will be shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers or boxes, along with cardboard padding to ensure safe delivery.  All records are in sleeves, and picture sleeves are in protective poly sleeves.

PRODUCT QUALITY   

This store specializes in 45 RPM records of all types, and nearly all records are from unplayed, old stock acquired from distributors, record label owners, defunct stores, and other reputable dealers.  The vintage vinyl offered here is in outstanding condition, which will rival that of any other seller.  The term "near mint" is one of the most frequently misused terms on ebay.  A "mint" record should be unused and perfect in every way, and, that being the case, a "near mint" record should be close to that.  Approximately 95% of the records here will qualify as "near mint", and those graded lower will be in nice, clean condition.  All records are original U.S. pressings, unless noted otherwise.  Reissues, second pressings, reproductions, and imports will be identified.  Scans of record labels will be provided whenever they are beneficial.  Scanning common record labels (e.g. RCA, Columbia, Atlantic, Motown, etc.) becomes redundant and is very time-consuming.  Scans are provided for all picture sleeves.  Unfortunately, no sound samples are available.
