Contact Us First!
We like to think problems are rare, but if you do experience
a problem, e-mail
us and we will attempt to solve it as quickly as possible. Customer satisfaction
is our highest priority! Do NOT contact eBay or PayPal BEFORE
first notifying us that there is a problem.
We recently had one customer complain to PayPal that
he had not received an item he had ordered three weeks earlier; we investigated
and found that the item had been sitting unclaimed at the customer's own local
post office for 2 1/2 weeks!! He simply forgot to pick it up!! Maybe the pickup
slip left on his door blew away. Had he contacted us first, we would have tracked
the item and that would have been the end of it. However, by filing a complaint
with PayPal instead of contacting us first, he ended up looking very foolish
and being barred from doing future business with us.
BIDDING
Bidders with Negative Feedback
We reserve the right to refuse to sell to
bidders with negative feedback, zero feedback, history of
non-payment or retracted bids, or nasty
attitudes. By bidding on any of our auctions you are deemed to consent
to all of the terms on this page!
Confirmed Address
Before you bid, make sure you have a "Confirmed
Address" registered with PayPal. The "confirmed address" is the
address where the credit card bill is sent. Very often, someone will use a stolen
credit card to buy an eBay item, then request shipping to an address other than
the cardholder address. The fraudulent buyer picks up the package and the seller
is out the goods and the cardholder is left with an unauthorized charge. By
requiring a "confirmed address," PayPal ensures that packages are
properly shipped to the cardholder and not to a third party. You can change
your confirmed address (to your workplace or anywhere else) with PayPal at any
time on their website. We will be happy to ship to wherever PayPal tells us
the confirmed address is.We understand it may seem like a minor inconvenience,
but as you can see, there is a very good reason for the policy, as it protects
both legitimate buyers and sellers.
PAYMENT
When You Receive Your Confirmation
Once you receive confirmation of your winning bid,
PayPal will show your payment as received by "Tomorrow's Nostalgia / ComicSource."

SHIPPING
Shipping Charges
In most of our auctions, eBay will calculate the shipping
price to account for the weight of the item and your location. When eBay does
not automatically calculate your shipping charges, we will calculate shipping
and handling charges based on the package weight and destination. We try, but
cannot guarantee, to calculate as close to the exact shipping cost as possible.
Priority Mail
We ship all orders within the U.S. by U.S.
Priority Mail.
Priority Mail prices start at $4.95 (as of May 2009) and increase based on
item weight. Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes cost $9.85 (as of May 2009). We understand that many eBay sellers ship by cheaper Media Mail; however Media Mail
does not allow tracking and is very slow. Since we track all shipments
we only ship by U.S. Priority Mail, which usually arrives in 3-to-5
days from the Ship Date.
Priority Mail anywhere within the U.S. (including Puerto
Rico, Guam, Alaska
& Hawaii, and APO boxes) is the same as within the continental US; that
is, the Postal Service does not charge a surcharge for being outside the continental
U.S. We only ship by insured U.S. Priority Mail.
Insurance & Tracking
In certain cases we may chose to insure your package to protect you from risk of loss or damage; in those cases, the cost of such insurance has been factored into the selling price. In the unlikely event of damage, save the original shipping package and bring it to your local post office to file an insurance claim. Do not discard the original packaging; do not return the package to us. We
track all domestic orders;
if your item has not arrived, please tell us and we will track it for you.
A tracking fee of $0.65 is included in
the Shipping & Handling charge.
Overseas Orders
Except where
stated in the item listing, we no longer ship overseas. When we do, we ship
by Global Priority Mail or Global Express only. Insurance is only available
on Global Express. A $3 surcharge will be added to all overseas orders to
defray cross border fees and other charges. We are not liable for packages
lost or damaged in transit, delayed in delivery, or held up by customs. We
reserve the right to cancel the sale and refund the purchase amount if we
suspect the transaction is fraudulent.
Combined Shipping On Multiple Purchases
We may combine
orders in an effort
to save you postage but only at our discretion and only
if it is convenient for us to do so. If items are the same
size and will all fit in a Flat Rate box then we encourage you to combine
shipping.
Frequency of Shipping
We make one weekly trip to the post office to mail shipments. That
day is the Ship Date from which to calculate shipping time, not the date you
submitted your order.
Priority Mail is NOT 3 Day Delivery!
Many people think that Priority Mail guarantees 3 Day delivery. Wrong! The
Post Office does NOT guarantee 3 day delivery on Priority Mail! Ask them.
They say an average of 3 days! We found out the hard way when a package
we sent by "3 Day Priority Mail" cross-country took 22 days to arrive. That's
when the post office explained to us that it "usually" takes 3 days, but that
they do not guarantee 3 days.
Merchandise Return
Ordinarily we do not accept merchandise
return. If you contact us and we agree that there is a valid reason for
return or exchange then we will provide you with return instructions, DO
NOT SEND ANYTHING to us without an RMA number. Packages or letters
without an RMA number will not be acknowledged and we are not responsible for
packages returned without an RMA number.
ITEM CONDITION AND GRADING
Almost all of our items (unless specifically stated
otherwise in the item description) were purchased by us directly from the publisher,
manufacturer, or distributor and have been warehoused or displayed on our store
shelves. These items are described as "New;" or "Uncirculated."
If an item has been previously owned by a colletor or other individual we describe
it as "previously owned," "used,"
or "secondary market." If the item is shrinkwrapped
or appears to be in perfect condition, we list it as "Mint."
Items that have been warehoused or displayed on store shelves may have normal
shelf wear.
We have been grading comic books for 40 years.
We realize that grading is very subjective; two collectors
may honestly disagree on the condition of a book. Frankly, if precise condition
is the most important factor for you in buying a comic book then you should
only buy comics in person where you can examine the book for yourself. Most
of our comics listed (published after 1992) were purchased directly from the
distributor, bagged and boarded. Comics listed published prior to 1992 were
previously owned and we purchased them from collectors on the secondary market.
We use the original Grading Scale (poor - fair - good - very
good - fine - very fine - near mint - mint) which has been used for many decades
and defined in editions of the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide from 1970 to
1990. We do not use numeric scales or CCG grading as we believe those are unreliable
measures of grading (if two collectors may disagree between "fine"
and "very fine" how reliably can they agree on an 8,7 versus an 8.9?)

website. Since 1993, we have maintained several extensive collectibles websites
with thousands of items for sale, updated daily, including e-comix.com
(graphic novels and trade paperbacks), TomorrowsNostalgia.com
(toys, games, posters, t-shirts, trading cards) and fonecards.net
(phone cards).
