I know it’s allot of reading, but it will save us both from any misunderstandings! We try very hard to make shopping with us a pleasant experience, but we are a tiny Fair Trade company and not a huge chain store, so there are some things to know in advance.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT EVERYTHING WE SELL IS HAND MADE
They are not cookie cutter production, making them unusual and unique, not department store perfection.
We never sell anything that is damaged or flawed, but please expect variations and character in each piece- they are made by family crafters with limited equipment, not in huge factories, so just remember it’s made with love not technology
I measure and re-measure each item to be sure of the best description, but please ask questions if you are unclear of size
MEASUREMENTS ARE ACTUAL GARMET MEASUREMENTS
not body size, so allow 1-2” room for comfort.
ONE SIZE listings DO NOT mean they will fit everyone
they are a free size as in they fit a range of sizes, but PLEASE check measurements
We do include sizes in some listings, we will list them either as the size they are tagged, or the size they are closest to by our standards. We use industry standards measurements for sizing, NOT NECESSARILY THE SAME SIZING AS OTHER STORES~ department stores all have different measurements for their sizing, and some are simply ridiculous, and we cannot know what size you wear by other companies standards.
PLEASE USE MEASUREMENTS AS THE BEST WAY TO FIND THE RIGHT SIZE.

We accept PAYPAL only, it is the safest for all of us.
All listings are set to instant payment required as World of Good requires, but Ebay does not have a combined checkout system so if you would like a combined checkout for multiple items please shop through the World of Good portal to our store so your items automatically combine
We try to ship as quickly as possible, but we are a very small business run by a mom, and shipping daily is no longer possible
~WE SHIP TWICE A WEEK~
All items ship out MONDAYS & THURSDAYS, purchases made on shipping days will ship the NEXT listed shipping day, not same day
~PLEASE ALLOW TIME FOR DELIVERY~
Everything is shipped FIRST CLASS, priority if its heavy, but the USPS can be inconsistent in delivery times. PLEASE understand that is not in our hands. I ALWAYS email the day of shipping (thru Ebay- so please check your Ebay messages)
Everything is sent with delivery confirmation as well so your goods are safe.
All items are automatically set to PRIORITY FLAT RATE prices. Because prices can vary country to country, there is no automatic combined shipping rates, and in some cases light and inexpensive items can be sent first class if you prefer (It’s a bit slower, but allot cheaper) so just email if you would like another shipping method or if you would like combined shipping.

We all know how frustrating it is to buy your dream outfit only to find it too small, too big or just not what you planned~ and at Conscious Clothing we want to be sure you're happy with your purchase!
PLEASE DO READ CAREFULLY AS THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS
We try to have detailed measurements and descriptions in every listing to avoid any problems, but if you receive and item and it just won't work for you~ no problem! Just follow these few simple steps:
~EMAIL ME~ I need to hear from you within 3 days of delivery, just explain what the problem is and I'll send you a return authorization number and shipping details
~RETURN THE ITEM~ returns must be in the same condition sent, with tags attached and it must shipped within 3 days with delivery confirmation for safety ) please email me the dc # when you ship it)
~RESPOND TO THE EBAY ITEM CANCELLATION~ when I receive you item I will send you an Ebay request to cancel the transaction , this just refunds part of my fees, but is necessary for all returns
~YOUR REFUND WILL BE PROCESSED WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF ALL STEPS COMPLETED~
REFUND ARE FOR PURCHASE PRICE ONLY, SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDED
ITEMS WITH FREE SHIPPING WILL HAVE A $5 SHIPPING FEE DEDUCTED FROM THE REFUND
~A FEW THINGS TO NOTE~
I do have to reserve sole discretion on the condition of the items, for instance if an item is returned and smells (of smoke or any other smell it wasn’t sent with), even if the tags are attached we will not accept it back. Anything sent without tags will not be accepted either. IT MUST BE IN SELLABLE CONDITION. In cases were the item is not in its original condition we will email and give you the option of paying for it to be shipped back to you or we will donate it to a needy cause.
~ITEMS RECIEVED NOT AS DESCRIBED~
We stand behind everything we sell 100%, and try to have the most accurate measurements and descriptions possible, but we are human and its possible we can miss something
If you receive and item that is not as described, we will refund you 100% including shipping charges both ways!!
If you receive an item and there is a problem, you need to contact us the day of delivery to let us know and it must be mailed back to us within 3 days. As soon as it's received we'll send a full refund including the return shipping.
I cannot stress this enough- IF YOU DO NOT EMAIL ME WITHIN THE TIME FRAMES LISTED, I CANNOT ACCEPT IT BACK FOR ANY REASON- I will not accept returns weeks after they have arrived, so please do not ask
~AGAIN~ PLEASE, PLEASE do not shop with us if you feel these policies are unfair. We are a tiny FAIR TRADE business, not some huge online retailer~we offer great prices on unique designs and a very liberal return policy, and simply would not be able to remain in business if expected to absorb the costs of returns.
~FEEDBACK & STAR RATINGS~
PLEASE do NOT leave anything other than positive feedback and 5 star ratings without emailing us!
It seems many buyers are unaware of how the rating and feedback system affects sellers. We are penalized heavily by Ebay if we receive anything other than 5 stars in each category! In most rating systems a 4 star rating is great, but on Ebay a 4 star rating is terrible for a seller! In order for us to qualify for the fees discounts Ebay offers (and afford to keep our prices low) we MUST keep a 4.9 rating in every category.
PLEASE, PLEASE keep this in mind when leaving feedback and star ratings, we work very hard to deserve 5 stars in each category and make each customer happy, and if you ever have a problem, please just email us and give us a chance to correct it.
And lastly, unfortunate as it is that it has to be said at all, please do not threaten negative feedback or lower star ratings because we will not change our policies for you. Like I've noted throughout this page, we are a tiny little business, we work very hard to offer the best prices we can and these policies are already as liberal as we can afford (more so really). If you check my feedback you'll see that there are times when there have been shoppers unwilling to be reasonable and their feedback reflects that~ as much as we would love your business, if you are not willing to abide by our policies, please shop elsewhere and save us both the headache.

~ addendum (11/2007) because I received a complaint about our packaging "wrinkling" an item~
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO US!!
we recycle packing materials, pack things as small as possible and DO NOT wrap items in tissue unless they are breakable (talk about a waste of paper!)
We ship almost everything in lightweight poly bags- they not only allow us to ship items cheaper for our customers, but they are incredibly durable and easier on the environment because they do not take up as much space when shipped (so less bulk=more items in the truck=less emissions and fuel use) but they may wrinkle your items- if that’s a problem for you then please don't bid, I'm sorry but the earth is more important than a wrinkle don't you think?
On larger packages we use flat rate envelopes and boxes- all made of recycled paper and again, unless an item is fragile and needs padding, I do not believe in wasting trees just for pretty wrapping (unless it’s a gift- then I offer gift wrapping in tree-free lokta paper)- while we all like pretty packages, I think we like forests more;)
