This store is named after my grandmother, Cophine, who was the first recycler, reuser, and thrift shopper I ever knew. She rarely threw anything away and rarely bought anything new. This was in a time when thrift stores and consignment stores did not exist. When you were through with an item, it was passed to someone in your family, someone in your church or someone you knew. She was such a thrifty person that it became a sort of family joke. When I have become too tight fisted, my sister calls me Cophine and doesn't mean it as as compliment. For that reason, I have called my shop, Cophine's Sell It Again. I believe my grandmother would approve. Susan Ingle
