Crackerbarrel Corner Store Policies
All items are sold in AS IS condition. Please review the item’s description
closely. All marks, nicks, snags, stains, tears or other anomalies will have
been clearly stated and noted by photo during the auction. Lack of knowledge of
the overall or total condition of the item on sale on the buyer’s part will not
be considered cause for returning an item.
I will gladly give you positive feedback (regardless of
what feedback you leave for me) AFTER you have given me your feedback. As so
many people do not leave feedback, I will only reciprocate with those buyers who
do use the feedback system. Therefore you may leave any feedback of your
choice once your purchase has been received; my positive feedback will follow within 72 hours.
I only accept payment through PayPal. Payment must be received within 5 days from
close of auction, or immediately on Buy It Now items. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE
ACCEPTED, MONEY ORDERS OR MAILED PAYMENTS. If payment is not received within 10
days of the close of auction and the buyer does not respond to emails requesting payment or the reasons
for lack of payment - a dispute through eBay
will be initiated.
The only exception to this policy is when I have items listed in the "LOCAL -
PICKUP ONLY" section of the store.
Shipping & Handling Policy:
All shipping and handling rates are done through the use of the Shipping
Calculator based on the item's estimated packaging weight and package dimensions. A
minimal charge as been included for the actual packaging of the item, although
some items may require special packaging due to size or to prevent
breakage/damage during shipment. If this is the case, it will be mentioned
in the item's description.
Please bear in mind that most items are not packaged for shipment until they
are sold. Therefore shipping weights have been estimated as well as
possible when the item is listed for sale. Sometimes a few ounces can make
a big difference in whether an item can be shipped First Class or must be sent
Parcel Post. Because it would be unfair to the buyer to have go back and
request additional funds for under-calculated shipping, each item has been
listed at a few ounces over the expected weight once packed (taking into account
the box and packing material). Be advised that due
this, Crackerbarrel Corner makes it part of our policy to refund any excess
amount collected on shipping to all customers.
Shipping of all items will be scheduled once full payment for the item - and any
additional insurance requested by the buyer - has been received and shipping
address has been confirmed.
Shipping is normally made in 1/2 business days, EXCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS,
after full payment has been received.
I prefer to ship by UPS Ground Service whenever possible. UPS shipping offers
several advantages - online tracking and insurance. To me, these benefits out
weigh the slightly higher cost involved. When a tracking number is available, it
will be passed on to the buyer with email confirming that shipment of the item
has been made.
UPS automatically insures an item for up $100. Should the item's price exceed
that amount additional insurance can be purchased at the seller's expense.
Please advise if you wish to purchase additional insurance when I confirm your
winning bid by email after the auction closes.
However, in order to be competitive in my auctions, I offer either the cheapest
available rate (which is generally first class or media mail) or two/three (2/3) different
levels of shipping on most items. The only method of shipping that includes
insurance is UPS. On some items, insurance will be required, regardless of the
method of shipment. The method of shipment chosen will effect my return policy -
please see below.
Shipping is a non-refundable expense on all purchases through this store. Any refund that is granted - whether a cash or merchandise credit refund - will only pertain to the sales price.
Combine shipping is available on most items that are ordered at the same
time. Through eBay all items can be invoices and the shipping be combined
prior to the buyer paying for their purchases. No credit is given if
purchasing one item one week and then purchasing another at a later date.
Return Policy when the item is received damaged by shipment:
If you have an issue with any item after it has
been received, please email me immediately (within 24 hours of receipt) at:
email@example.com. If your item
was received at your address broken or damaged, I will be glad reimburse you the
full sales price when the shipping insurance through UPS has been received.
If the item included Parcel Post insurance, once notified of the damage, I will
email you instructions on how to get a refund on the insurance through a claims
office at a post office. KEEP ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR
THE CLAIM PROCESS. NO CLAIM CAN BE FILED THROUGH UPS OR THE POST OFFICE IF
YOU HAVE THROWN OUT THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
If however, you did not pay for insurance or specify UPS as your preferred
shipping carrier on a breakable or damageable
item, and that item arrives broken or damaged during shipment,
NO REFUND will be
given on that item - as the choice of shipment was yours (the buyer's).
If a mailed item is lost during shipping - either within the US or
internationally. No refund will be issued for item or the cost of shipping
- as long as we can provide proof of shipment.
SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
ALL sales to countries outside the United States are considered final. No returns
are excepted and no refunds will be issued. Also keep in mind, that overseas shipments
are not insurable. Every effort will be made to pack your item securely, but we cannot
make any guarantees without the ability to include insurance on your package.
Returning Non-Damaged items:
Remember ALL sales are considered FINAL. Returns are only accepted in
specific circumstances and only accepted if permission was granted for you to
return the item PRIOR to you returning it. However should an undamaged item
need to be returned, the buyer will be responsible for
shipping the item back to me and must insure the item for the cost of the sale
price AND provide proof of insurance. The item must be returned in the same condition it was sent for a full
refund to be issued. Item returned is broken or damaged (which were received by
the buyer in good condition) will not be accepted and no refund will be issued.
In some instances, Merchandise Credit will be given instead of a cash refund. If this is the case, the credit granted will only be for the actual sales price of the item (not the asking price - the price actually paid for the item). Shipping is not considered a refundable expense when a Merchandise Credit is given.
I am happy to work with all purchaser's to ensure your
satisfaction with your purchase. If you feel there is a problem with any
purchased item, please email me immediately upon receipt of the item - with 24
hours. Notifications after the 24 hour period are subject to refusal and
Once an item has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.
However, I am happy to accommodate cancellation requests as long as the item
has not been shipped. I do not charge a cancellation or re-stocking fee.
If cancellation is due to an error on my part, such as the website not being
updated with the sold items prior to your order, then I will fully refund your
entire purchase price including shipping. And, to show my appreciation for
you visiting my website, I will give you 50% store credit on the purchase price
of your item up to a total of $10. Valid for 1 year from date of sale.
