All of Making it Big’s pants have elastic waistbands; some styles have waistbands that are one inch wide and others have waistbands that are 1-1/2 inches wide. As far as we’ve been able to determine, all the pants have pockets. Some are side seam pockets and some are stitched trouser pockets.

COTTON JERSEY PANTS: Knit Drape Pants, Easy Pants and Down to Earth Pants are all the same cotton jersey fabrication. These are great casual pants, and seem to last forever. Here are the differences between them:

• Knit Drape Pants – MIB’s roomiest pants, they have extra fullness in the hips and thighs, and narrow at the ankles. Knit Drape Pants come in Petite, Regular and Long lengths (ses sizing notes below).
• Easy Pants – They have a relaxed fit with a slightly tapered leg, but are less roomy in the hips and thighs than Knit Drape Pants. Easy Pants come in Petite, Regular and Long lengths (see sizing notes below).
• Down to Earth Pants – They have a relaxed fit, but are less roomy in the hips and thighs than Knit Drape Pants. They are not tapered at the ankles. Down to Earth Pants come in Petite, Regular and Long lengths (see sizing notes below).

RAYON AND RAYON BLEND PANTS: Epic Pants, Venetian Pants, Linen Rayon Pants and Summertime Crop Pants are all machine washable rayon or rayon blends.

• Epic Pants - They are Making it Big’s most popular dressier pants. They have a roomy fit with a soft drape and a tapered leg. Epic Pants come in Petite, Regular and Long lengths (see sizing notes below).
• Mira Epic Pants - They are the same cut as Epic pants, but the fabric is combed rayon and has a sheen to it. They have a roomy fit with a soft drape and a tapered leg. Epic Pants come in Petite, Regular and Long lengths (see sizing notes below).
• Wide Leg Venus Pants – They are a microfiber rayon that is really soft. They don’t wrinkle easily, so they are great for travel. The inseam is relatively short, and the legs are not tapered.
• Venetian Pants – They are a rayon jaquard in a textured fabrication. Venetian pants are quite dressy, though they would also be appropriate for careerwear. They are 54% spun rayon and 46% viscose, and come in one length.
• Linen Rayon Pants – They have a generous fit and are 55% linen and 45% rayon, making them a little dressier.
• Summertime Crop Pants – They come in a whimsical print, have roomy straight legs with deep side slits and are 100% rayon and machine washable.
• Epic Flood Crop Pants – They are very roomy crop pants and are 100% rayon.

TWILL PANTS: Twill pants are a more tightly woven cotton fabrication than the cotton jersey pants. They generally don’t have as much give and are more fitted than the cotton jersey pants.

• Twill Pants – They are 100% cotton, have a relaxed silhouette and are especially good for fuller calves. They come in one length.
• Stretch Twill Pants – They are 97% cotton and 3% spandex, so they have a little more give. They come in one length.
• Relaxed Stretch Twill Pants – They have more room in the thigh and calf than regular Stretch Twill Pants. They are 96% cotton and 4% spandex, and come in one length.

LINEN AND LINEN BLEND PANTS: Classic Pants, Free N Easy Pants and Linen Rayon Pants are all great for casual or career – plus they’re machine washable.

• Classic Pants – They are roomy through the hips and legs and have a slightly tapered ankle. They are 100% linen and come in one length.
• Free N Easy Pants – They are a linen/cotton blend (55% linen and 45% cotton) and have roomy legs.
• Linen Rayon Pants – They have a generous fit and are 55% linen and 45% rayon, making them a little dressier.

COTTON PANTS: Ecco Pants and Sausalito Palazzo Pants are lightweight and great for summer, while French Terry and Heather Pants are great for cooler seasons.

• Ecco Pants – They are a lightweight crinkle cotton with a generous fit.
• Sausalito Palazzo Pants – They have a double layer of lightweight cotton gauze, and feature a purl stitched hem. They have very full legs with a 24-inch inseam, rather like crop flood pants.
• French Terry Pants – They are like upscale sweat pants, though without elastic at the ankles. They are great for fuller hips and legs are made from a very soft, warm cotton knit fabric.
• Heather Pants – They have a relaxed cut and are made from a warm textured cotton fabric.

CROP PANTS: Crop pants are great from summer through fall – and they’re a lot of fun!

• Montego Crop Pants – They are made from classic cotton seersucker – perfect for summer!
• Marina Crop Pants – They are have a great leaf print, and are made from rayon.
• Cotton Jersey Crop Pants – They are made from the same fabric as Knit Drape and Easy pants. They sometimes have an embellishment at the hem.
• Cabana Crop Pants – They are gorgeous hand-batiked rayon challis that have dragonflies against a blue background

• Extra Small (XS) – Comparable to MIB size 1, hip measurement of 44-49 inches

• E (old size Small) – Comparable to the smaller end of an MIB size EF (old size 2), hip measurement of 50-53 inches

• F (old size Medium) – Comparable to the larger end of an MIB size EF (old size 2), hip measurement of 54-57 inches

• G (old size Large) – Comparable to the smaller end of an MIB size GH (old size 3), hip measurement of 58-61 inches

• H (old size XL) – Comparable to the larger end of an MIB size GH (old size 3), hip measurement of 62-67 inches

• J (old size 2X) – Comparable to the smaller end of an MIB size JK (old size 4), hip measurement of 68-71 inches
