About AMBER POINTS:

With an ownership in Amber Vaction Points you have the choice to use your Fixed Week at the deeded home resort or convert your fixed week to Amber Vacation Club points every year, which may be used at any Amber Vacation Club affiliated resort listed below.  Your points renew each year on your deeded week. For example you will receive 900 points on week 27 (July 5, 2009) and they will be good until Week 27, 2010. You must let the resort know 7 months in advance if you would like to use your fixed week at the resort. Each resort has their own points calendar, which you may view when you click each resort.  The choice is yours.  In order to use your fixed week, you must make the reservation no later than 6 months prior to arrival.

• Option 1) Use your Home Resort
  You decide to use your ownership during the week you own in the unit you purchased. Simply tell the AVC Counselor with a call, 365 to 180 days prior to your vacation start date.
  
• Option 2) Exchanging your Ownership Thru RCI
  You decide to vacation in Hawaii. First, you call the AVC Counselor with your intent to exchange through RCI. Second, you call RCI and find your exchange is easy as 1,2,3!
  
  1. Deposit your ownership at Sunrise Ridge Resort into the RCI SPACEBANK Pool.
  2. Request your exchange in Hawaii.
  3. After receiving your confirmation, subject to availability, you pack your bags and enjoy their exchange vacation.
  
• Option 3) Converting (no cost) Your Ownership To Points
  You decide to take advantage of the AVC Point System and take multiple vacations. You call AVC Reservations and convert your deeded ownership of week 27 into the prescribed point value of 900 points, allowing you use at the resorts listed below, corresponding to the season and unit type of your choice.
